Heard today that Don King would be hitting the campaign trail for GWB. This must be in an effort to secure some of the black vote.
Is this okay? Do you the Bush supporters find this appropriate/wise?
Oh, Don King is a convicted killer - four years done in the pen. He killed another time too, but only in self-defense…ONLY IN AMERICA can a convicted killer and known extortionist campaign for the incumbant president!

P.S. George H.W. Bush tried unsuccessfully to influence the trial against Ted Kennedy. He had a feeling that someday he could buy the Presidency for his son. He had an inkling that Ted Kennedy would someday oppose him.

And one quick point: Bush’s gazillions come largely from grassroots mailer campaigns that qualify as hard money. Check the Democratic Party’s new favorite toy - the 527 - that allow billionaires to funnel money in complete contravention of what campaign finance reform was supposed to be about.
Don King: bad idea, I wouldn’t want him to campaign for me if I were Bush, but who cares? Who is going to change their vote or cement a vote they were unsure of because Don King opened his yapper?
I don’t think Black Americans give Don much credit in the political advice department. If it had been Bill Cosby, that might make for a compelling endorsement.
