Dogpile 2010

Awesome trip soldog - and the views are breathtaking. That is some serious elevation. And I’m with the gang: you didn’t endanger anyone. I sense a little jealousy perhaps?

That was a lovely panorama. Your friend was just embarrassed about looking like a pussy. I don’t care for the “rescue me” mentality…can you tell?

Wow, breathtaking George. Pretty handy with the axe. If you ever need a second career…

Wow, nice pics, great scenery. Looks like the kinda place Id like to live.

“The hut” pic looks like my house. Did you come visit without telling me?

This got me in trouble with the group leader, (a friend of 12 years), He thought I endangered myself and the group by preforming this selfish and unnecessary activity. He said I also embarrassed him because he went to the trouble of calling 911 and getting the forest service to respond to cut up the tree. Hell I was just having some fun doing something that I’ve done for years, endangering no-one and working towards the goal of clearing the road. I will never understand the sit back and let someone else “rescue” attitude. Especially when you can take action to rescue yourself, even if it is ultimately unnecessary.
The pictures are beautiful. I also fail to see how your helping to clear the tree was endangering anyone. The only way it could be seen as embarrassing is if you did it without pants. You didn’t do that did you? People who wait to get rescued get eaten by bears.
I say “weak people get eaten by bears all the time”.

Now thats taking care of business George.

Nice surroundings. Watched the video, and I think I’m afraid of heights.

Link your friend to this thread, maybe he’ll put some pants on next time.

Meet prep

Squat BWx20, barx10, 95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 225x1, 255x1, 275x1

Bench Barx10, 95x5, 115x5, 135x1, 165x1, 185x1

Deads 135x5, 225x5, 315x1, 345x1, 375x1

Shit! These all felt too heavy.

your probably just beat form the trip. rest and next time you’ll rock.

I was thinking about you the other night. I went for a bike ride with my boyfriend and part way along we came across a rather large branch across the path. While it would have been fun to hide in the bushes and see people get clothes lined, we tried to move it away. Sadly, it was attached to a huge tree and every time we moved it, it bounced back on the path like a mouse trap. I shared your tree story with my guy and we decided next time, we’d bring an axe.

Soldog is correct. No one from T-Muscle lifted yesterday. I got to watch the afternoon session yesterday. Fun, fun.

BTW, Soldog. I WILL be there tomorrow morning. So I can vid your lifts. Look for me.

And good luck! I found the judging to be quite lenient.

Thanks Snapper! Look for me too - I’ll be in red & black. Also, if my last meet is any indication, I’ll be first in my flight because of my relatively light lifts…

Go get em, Dog!

Your at the Nationals? I will be glued to the Pc to see you in action.Buy the way I wish the best of luck and heres to you in hitting some P.R’s.

What time do you start lifting, George?

Thanks all!
