Bench barx10, 95x5, 115x5
Working: 135x3, 155x3, 175x4
BBB 115x10 4 sets
Kroc rows 100x10 4 sets
May have set my bench training max too high, Iâ??ll let it ride for a cycle or two before resetting. Assistance work will increase again next week. Those kroc rows killed me cause I haven’t done them for almost 2 months.

Nice work. I’m only on 60’s for Krocs. I feel like such a wimp ![]()

Deads 135x5, 165x5, 205x3
Working 235x3, 270x3, 305x3
Bbb 135x10 3 sets
Bike 3miles ride to Salina 267 to go
Feeling out the form on the these deads and I could tell that by rep 3 I was rounding. So I just stuck with the reps. Work capacity is down probably due to lack of sleep. I’m in bed plenty of hours just can’t stay asleep for more than about 90 minutes at a shot and can’t sleep in through the mornings like I used to. Mood has improved nonetheless…
Spent the weekend finishing up the last major painting job, now the trim guy goes to work. If only we had a kitchen… the counters are one of those stupid sagas that hit every remodel.
Sometmes you just gotta hit the required reps and live to fight another day. Good work.
Sleep issues are killer, but I’m glad to hear your mood is up regardless.
I struggle with knowing when to stop the reps due to form issues. You did the right thing on the deads, I think. Very smart.

Thanks Kimba - having had back surgery once 15 years ago, I’m very sensitive to the issue.
I hope I didn’t see conventional deadlifting on your last video. Please tell me you’re de-loading or it’s just a phase. I thought we had a special sumo bond going on.

but, but - we never made eye contact, so there was no commitment…

First Meat now you. Men are all the same.
SD, I’ve had good luck with ZMA. 2-3 before bed helps me sleep better. Or just take a couple if you wake up and have trouble falling back to sleep.

I’ve been taking ZMA for a while now. Z-12 as well but they’re backordered now. I just picked up some melatonin and 5-HTP (which looks to be the active part of Z-12) to try.
1/12/10
W=211 sh reh, face pulls, pushups
MP barx10, 55x5, 70x5, 80x3
Work sets 90x3, 100x3, 115x9
Bbb 65x10 5 sets
Chins 5x5
Mood continues to be better-think the B-12 and b-complex I added to my sups has help, sleep has improved some with a higher dose of Z-12 and melatonin. Weâ??ll see about tonight since I run out of Z-12 and am substituting 5-HTP.
Long hours at work through the first week of Feb. started this week, so the improved mood and attitude is a big help.
Good work, George, glad things are improving.

Good on you that the long work hours aren’t bringing you down. That need to earn a living can be ultra-annoying.

Amen! I am still trying to figure out how to make a living without working. Maybe we should put DCAs brain to the task.

Don’t know about you, but every time I paint a room or even a little trim, I can’t sleep well for days. Something about the fumes wires me up. Doesn’t matter if its latex or oil, but oil is worse.

don’t think it’s that - because the trim guy has been sealing the trim since monday and I smell it all night

Passive income from subject matter websites. Put up a website dealing with a certain subject, get yourself in the search engine rankings up near the top ten results. Sell ebooks and provide links to more in-depth information, resellers, etc. Allow google ads I guess.
Some fella in India did it with parrots. He doesn’t own parrots, could care less about parrots, but his site has pertinent info about caring for, buying, parrots. Garners about 5000 a month. Remember - he’s in India, so that’s a good living. His site is simply useful to parrot owners.
Upshot is: pick a subject without much competition or representation, but which has a need for it and represent it.
Its funny how sleeping better makes everything better. Good going…
