Could you cite a source for this statistic, please?

Those that do not let out to roam free bark all day and all night long, dig under your fence and continue to be a nuisance.

What a terrible blanket statement. Some do. It is entirely possible that many of these dogs don’t, but you just don’t realize this because their thoughtful owners take care to train them to not be so intrusive in the lives of others.

Then if you visit somebody’s house that owns a dog, many times the dog will jump on you or nip at you (depending on size) and the owner will do nothing, or very little, to stop it.

I could care less that dogs are pitted to kill each other. They do that on their own anyway. And when they don’t they pack up to kill people or whatever they happen to run into.

Wow.

I personally kill very dog I have opportunity to kill. The last dog that attacked me did so right in front of the owner. I was jogging down the road and it ran out of the yard and jumped at me to try and bite me. I turned around and kicked the hell out of it till it ran away. The owner didn’t even say sorry. Next time I see the dog around I will kill it.

I get a good work out thinking about how to waste dogs…

What a fucking creep. Hey, CaliforniaLaw, I think we found one of those sociopaths you were talking about.

Here for a start:

“Between 15 and 20 people die per year.”

What kind of math did you take that leads you to this being “… one of the top killers of people in the US?”

WOW that is profound.

Wait I think I remember seeing you have cats. That explains it all a guy who likes cats.

How many breath’s have I taken? Who knows. You stop counting after a while. I can tell you the last dog I killed was last week. It pulled a slat out of my fence and started eating my cat’s food. (Yes I have cats – at least they don’t eat children). This was the third time it has done this, and yes I am a civilized person so I talked to the neighbors about it and they did nothing. Anyway I go outside to chase it off and it turns and stands it’s ground. I walk back inside, get my gun and plugged it. End of story.

By the way – I don’t live in city limits so yes, I can fire off a gun in my yard.
You’ve gotten lucky…sometime’s it aint the dog that’s the dangerous one.

You moron. I like dogs too. Except I like dogs in their natural habitat – in the wild where they belong. They should not be domesticated as they have no practical purpose except to annoy others and sooth some insecurity or emotional deficit that their owners have.

Cats on the other hand keep mice and moles out of my yard. And I don’t particularly like them. But since they don’t kill little children, annoy others with incessant barking, and poop all over the place they are tolerable.

People, aren’t they domesticated animals. I say percentage wise the number deaths due to dogs is much lower then that of the number of deaths due to people.

I fucking hate cats. They get into everything they smell and leave their little cat shits everywhere. so they might not chase you down they are still annoying, but I don’t kill every cat I see.

Hell many people annoy me but i don’t shoot them.

we’ll just call them social deviants then; that work for ya?

Not even. Just callous to that method of dying, like a person who becomes callous to killing chickens for food. The average american can’t imagine doing that. What do you suggest the people that do are social deviants?

Yeh, that is exactly what I am saying. To put it mildly they are at a minimum social deviants. Just because they are callous to the brutality of it does not make it excusable. I might also argue that “underground” = not socially acceptable behavior; ie. deviants.
So your saying that people who kill chickens for us to eat are social deviants, as well as those that kill cows, and sheep?

LOL! We both know you are a pussy and that is the reason you run so much (i.e., scared of your own shadow).

You couldn’t beat your own meat much less a dog’s ass.

We all believe you…really we do.

Look, just because you are gay doesn’t mean you can go around unintelligently insulting people.

In any case, I don’t run very often. That is what makes it bad. The very few times I go running I have issues with dogs. So it isn’t like I run a lot and every now and then get accosted by dogs. My point being that dogs are a problem; they belong in the wilderness and their owners need a good beating for being so inconsiderate of others.

15 to 20 die from dog bites, annually? Wow. Given that only 26 Americans died last year, that is a truly disturbing statistic.

I am sure if one of those 15 or 20 was your child you would not think so light of the numbers. Of course your ilk probably will never have any children because you are too insecure to even talk to women. You would rather play with your slobbering, smelly dogs that eat their own vomit.

Fact is there is no other domesticated animal that kills more humans.
Airtruth wrote:

Have you ever met anyone that slaughters animals on a regular basis?

Could it be that the dogs that bother you while running are just investigating the smell of pussy you leave in your wake? Serious you are a hard fucking core internet warrior, what a joke.

going back to lurking now, have fun with your false bravado…you badass slayer of all things defenseless to dipshits.

(her ears came cropped)

I am one of those “pit bull type” dog owners you never hear about. My dog is always leashed, when she goes out in my fenced-in yard to do her business I never let her out of my sight, and I do my best to educate people about the breed. When she is in her fenced area I never go back inside the house, I play with her and wait until she is through.

She is trained and I reinforce her training every day. She knows that my wife and I are the pack leaders and she pleases us when she obeys us.
I understand people’s prejudices and fear of the breed. That prejudice and fear comes from the actions of a few dogs with owners who have no business having this type of dog.

mmlc is obviously angry at his very bad neighbors. If I or my wife were accosted or bitten by a dog I would let the town enforce its laws. If the dog repeated the offense and the owner ignored the town’s request I may take matters into my own hands.

I have had 3 pits in my life time. All rescued from pounds or taken from bad owners. They have been shining lights of happiness in my life. They are very strong dogs who need very vigilant and responsible owners. I hope politicians don’t take MY right to own these dogs away because of the actions of a small percentage of dogs and owners.

Hey!!

Don’t knock cats - cats are awesome; you don’t see cats posting on internet forums claiming that they are really tough because they shoot dogs…

…my oldest cat has never needed a gun to send a dog to the vet… grin

In terms of being companions, cats and dogs are remarkably similar inasmuch as it just takes the right animal to create that bond.

mmllcc - your whole argument is specious, largely, in part because of your use of the word, ‘domesticated’. The concept of domestication implies outside action (unless you’re going to claim that dogs started domesticating themselves to get closer to the fire), that is, domestication is imposed.

Dogs that run wild within human society are the responsibilty of the humans that failed in their duty of care to the animal; nothing more.

Give me a dog over a human any day.

I’ve yet to see a dog drink too many beers, climb into a car and run down an innocent civilian.

…I’ve yet to see a dog, write a statement on the internet about how it hates society and then go to the pound and gun down all the other dogs and vets that are there

…I’ve yet to see a dog perpetuate hate crimes on the basis on race, gender or creed (although, with some of the fancy haircuts show-poodles get, I could possibly understand it)

…I’ve yet to see a dog be held repsonsible for network programming
