That first workout always feels “too easy.” Everybody wants to do more More MORE. People are always taking themselves out, before they get started.

Dudes are like “Westside is too much volume for a drug free lifter.” Then they go do MORE work than the plan lays out. Lifts go backwards.

Then they say "Westside isn’t enough volume for natural, unequiped lifters.

No, but the process of achieving a good foundation of strength in-itself may often yield faster results than a far more involved, split-up routine may get you.

I’ve heard some people say that too. I enjoy Westside but I supplement it now.
