I heard l-arginine acts as a “secretagogue” which means it allows more growth hormone to be secreted from your pituitary gland as the gland produces more than it actually releases into the body. Considering how cheap this stuff is I’m gonna experiment with it. But I want to know if it really boosts growth hormone and if anyone has experience with it.
I dont believe there are any studies showing that is does when taken orally.
I believe all the studies showing a significant amount of increased GH release was by way of IV.
^ Exactly. I think the effect of L-Arginine is mostly smoke and mirrors; many actually feel more of a “pump” with a good product and might end up being more vascular for a couple of hours, but I believe the efficacy of the supplements in terms of GH secretion has been refuted.
