All I really want for shotguns is a browning over/under and something akin to mossberg 500.
I am not a fancy gun collector like you folks here.

Thatās how it startsā¦
This inflation is cramping my gun budget.
Well my gun budget is still non existent so ahead of meā¦
I just tell myself itās an investment
.
I finally have gotten to where Iām budgeting (or investing, as @Bauber just posted).
Where I live now, I have the 11th hole green of an old golf course across the street, and a shooting range behind me. One house a block south of me has had 10-11 rounds emptied into it about every three months since I moved into the neighborhood.
Fun times!
One of my new years resolution was to shoot a competition this year. Any recommendations for someone who has never shot competition before? Whatās a good one to start with?
I have been wanting to get into the precision rimfire competitions

Entry to this is low as some of the classes have caps on the total dollar value of your setup.
Iād definitely recommend a 22 LR competition.
They are fun, cheap, and youāll see if you enjoy it.
I got my 1.93" scope mount and went to the range on Monday. The 1.93" actually made a difference for me and I feel like itās faster than a more common 1.57" height. My suppressor fād up my PWS though. I zeroed it with the suppressor but I forgot to adjust the gas block first and I think it got so dirty from the initial couple rounds that now the gas block is frozen and the handguard is not coming off easily. I was surprised as my DI guns had no issue.
Itās kind of hard to top the Benelli M4 and Beretta 1301. Past that what can suppliers do other than make knock-offs?
Amen. I bought a Fostech Orign 12 and that thing is the biggest piece of expensive shit I have ever bought.
I shoot a Taran Tactical M4 in 3 gun. Very hard to beat, but the Beretta 1301 is fucking nice. I have 2 of them. Couldnāt resist getting one in OD green too. My local gun shop had one lightly used.
What gun is this on?
I havent seen the Taran tactical but I own the Beretta and my friend has the Benelli. I feel like Im shooting a high caliber rifle rather than a shotgun.
My PWS MK1 Mod2. Its 11.85" chambered in .223 wylde. Its sent from the mfg with the gas block in position 1 with 2 and 3 being for suppressors. I foegot about that piece and shot some rounds in position 1. Once I realized it because it was overgassed, I couldnt adjust it. I broke my gas key trying to turn it, which was stupid on my part. I talked to their customer service and Im going to mess with it this weekend, but I may need to send it in.
After the first malfunction, I dropped the mag and the ammo was super dirty, never saw that before. PWS has videos and they mentioned cleaning the tube after 5K rounds and Im nowhere near that, so not sure what happened
It could be carbon locked.
You can try to soak it in some carbon solvent. It has worked for me in the past.
Suppressors definitely make your gun farrr dirtier from the increased pressure back into the gun. Even more so when not on suppressor gas setting
.
M4 is a great gun
Yeah I screwed up. lol
I talked to their customer service team and they said basically remove the upper, put the muzzle on the ground or on something and push down to get the handguard off because thatās locked-up too.
Legit list.
Even though with multiple scars and 10 of thousands of rounds down range in them, I would not be my first weapon of choice really for anything.
Nor would I want any bullpup.
The Tavor has been pretty legit for me.
Iād consider it for CQB.
