Keep us posted on the eating. I haven’t run BtM because I didn’t want to skimp on the diet and I’d probably wind up doing just that.
Day 1.
Had to finish my fence at 8 am that I was redoing so I just worked out and now I’m going to the grocery store. Gonna eat 6 eggs and a half lb of beef when I get home.
Did 6 eggs and .75 lbs of beef so I can just eat 6 eggs in a few hours, and then eat the remaining .75 lbs of beef in 2 burgers tonight.
Did it in a low carb bowl a la @T3hPwnisher - just taco seasoning, eggs, cheese and hot sauce. Honestly could not add tomatoes or sour cream, I found it pretty difficult to eat it all, as I expected. But I know I can physically get it down, and the simplicity of the diet kind of makes it all up to you - there’s no miscalculating macros or missing something. There’s beef, eggs, and you, and you either eat it or bitch out.
I’m not a sour cream guy, but definitely would throw some salsa on that and call it a day. Tends to help get the last few bites down for some reason.
BTM day 1
Squat
155x5
180x5
205 5x5
Press
95x5
110x5
120x5
95x15
100 pull-ups - did overhand x10, underhand x10, neutral x10 3 times for 90 total and did the last few reps neutral.
100 band pullaparts all one set, just burn central
100 dips. Haven’t done 100 dips in a while. Hurt. Wanted to do pushups halfway through because the gym daycare was closing and I wouldn’t have had time to finish but I got my wife to take the kid to the car and wait for 5 minutes while I finished. No room to skimp on day 1.
I betray my San Diego heritage with how much I don’t like salsa. I only eat it on chips. Its refreshing then, but otherwise, I don’t like care for it on anything warm.
I don’t think I’ve ever agreed with one of your posts more.
Haha I could eat it by the spoonful. But, that’s a very understandable experience. I’m not a big fan of lobster which is strange for folks of my region.
Wishing I had @Frank_C’s truck as I start doing the 2nd half of my fence today.
Yes, those are 1x4x12’s hanging out the back and touching the windshield ![]()
First half turned out alright
Never done it before and my friend who was supposed to help bailed. Just need to trim one post with a circ saw.
Lookin good! I did my fence project last summer. I took my Tahoe and thought I’d be able to load everything in the back. I ended up renting a truck (luckily Home Depot does that, too).
How many cross beams did you use (the horizontal pieces to which the pickets are attached)?
I am upset you bought all that lumber and wasted an opportunity to literally build a monolith.
- I’ve seen them done with 2 but it seemed like I might as well have given an extra support.
Yeah same. And my toilet is pretty old I just dont know if it’s up to the task.
Good decision. Those pickets will bend if given the chance.
Finished the fence by the light of my impact wrench, lol. 6 eggs to celebrate. .75 lbs of beef (half the beef) and 12 eggs down. Just need to wait a couple hours and then I’ll slam 2 fat ass burgers.
I hope you took a before picture of your physique.
That’s a good idea, though I’m not exactly expecting any spectacular physique gains in 6 weeks.
Bet your legs will be bigger.
They probably will, but as of day 1 the only noticeable change is that taking a shit feels like someone pureed a ghost pepper and rubbed it on my asshole like chapstick.
