LOL, I saw that commercial and thought the same thing!
The standards are lower these days. I remember the commercials that freezes fat and redistributes it, how about get off your butt and go to the gym!
I hear ya. People these days want everything handed to them on a silver platter.
Itās also considered sexist, inconsiderate and offensive now to show a slim sexy body as either desirable or attainable.
It also saves them from āthese results arenāt typicalā message when someone loses like 100lbs. Im also assuming nutrisystem and the nerworks do not want complaints for fat shaming
This had me in tears laughing so hard. Apparently the man died of excessive hormones in the 500 range LOL
This is what happens when you donāt get properly elevated, if the medical condition causing the low-T isnāt addressed (heart failure) and is severe enough that TRT will worsen your condition, itās not TRTās fault, the doctor is responsible.
A lot of the TRT Clinics arenāt staffed by competent MD doctors and the testing is minimal. Itās obvious corners are being cut so these clinics can draw in more customers. The profit margins of these clinics is insanely high.
Well DUH, he was on TRT. His levels were normal because that is what he was being treated for.
WTF? I get my testosterone at Walgreenās just down the street and and my insurance pays for it. And why would a doctor be keeping him at 300 ng/dL? No wonder he hasnāt seen any improvement. His doctor is incompetent.
We assume his levels were normal, no mention of Free T testing or any measurements of SHBG.
Youāll probably find this in Australia too⦠I recall getting my test checked and the ref range (this was before I developed hypogonadism) was 4-20nmol⦠As a youngster my test levels were high, they progressively dropped after the age of 14 til they reached the all time lowest test of (officially) the low 200ās but privately 100 and something (ng/dl)⦠I was about 14nmol during this test (so around 400?), parents said nothing was wrong (one is a medical professional) as the āreference rangeā was 4-20nmol (meaning like 570 is the cut-off lol)⦠wouldnāt be surprised if many endoās here keep their patients at below 400-350ā¦
True but they were trying to make it sound like the fact that the guy was 500 ng/dL meant that he should never have been prescribed TRT in the first place and clearly that is not what is indicated there. All we can tell is that he was given enough exogenous testosterone as part of his therapy to put his total test at 500 ng/dL. Nothing more, nothing less.
Seems crazy. I was at 303 ng/dL when I sought help from my doc due to the symptoms. In fact I first went to see the doc due to the symptoms a year earlier and the test came back at 370 ng/dL and he didnāt recommend it then. Things had gotten a little worse by the following year so I tested again and he was ok to start my treatment at 303 ng/dL. He aims for 500-600 ng/dL which I think is reasonable if conservative.
Is conservative given heās treating numbers rather than symptomatology
My doc was reasonable about the symptoms. I use the gel and he first put me on 50mg/day. After the first month I tested at 515ng/dL and felt I still wasnāt quite right. I asked him to try upping the dose to 100mg/day but he suggested we try 75mg/day first which I did and everything seems fine now. So conservative in that he has an idea in his mind of where heād like to see T levels but heās not against raising the dose if that is indicated. Iām sure there are some docs who would be happy to prescribe whatever dose I asked for regardless of symptoms.
It seems the author did not bother to look at the other side of the story. In todayās world, you have to wonder if the media have an agenda. Interesting times.

This author is not qualified to objectively write on these topics. Ask her about how hard her erections are and youāll see what I mean.
I think she has an agenda. Anti men.
Without question. Sheās solidly New York āelite.ā Sheās fit and doesnāt have purple hair, so itās purely political, not mental illness or emotional problems.
Question for you guys. My doctor wonāt prescribe HGH. Iām reading that if you take doses of melatonin every night you can get the same relative natural benefits of HGH? Is there any truth to this in anyoneās opinion here?
Oh thatās wonderful news. Iām going to have to get me some melatonin
