I dont go to a gym but i am doing capoeira and i am going to a dance center for it.So as you can understand,the male dancers are around 5 for every dance class and i think only 2 of the shower there.At capoeira from the 30 males,well only me and 4-5 others shower so its not such a big deal.Also i sweat a lot.After a class i can literally fill a glass of water with sweat if i twist my t-shirt…Finally i finish the class at 10:30 pm and i go home at around midnight and the only thing that i want to do by then is eat and sleep…

I don’t, and I usually go to my buddies house afterwards, hang out for an hour or two, then go home and shower. Unless I’m going to school, then I’ll shower at his place. Not that I have anything against showering at the gym, but like Prof X said, I sweat all day long anyway. He’s in texas, I’m in florida, and the 30 foot walk to my car from anywhere is enough to make me feel like I just stepped out of a pool.

Hell no. My gym is pretty clean besides the bathroom, but the bathroom floor is always wet so it isn’t the cleanest. Tt’s because every old guy walks around in there soaking wet with doing the ball-johnson dance though, and the staff tries to keep it clean. My gym even had to put signs at the sinks saying no shaving besides your face allowed at the sinks. I don’t even want to know why they had to put those signs up. Also why do all the old naked guys feel the need to weigh themselves naked without a towel?
I shower at home/in my dorm since I walk to the gym when at home or at school. And if you’re gonna shower there, bring some damn shower shoes for hygiene.

I’ve seen guys take a shower and then walk naked to the toilet with no shoes on. I just don’t get some people. People piss all over the floor in that bathroom or worse.
I shower at the gym all the time. They have better water pressure than I do at home.
But I do wear thongs. I am actually shocked by how many woman at my gym shower barefoot.
I bring my own shampoo, soap, washcloth and towel too.
Meh, when I was in the military I showered in some places that would give many people nightmares. It’s all good as long as you bring your own shower gel, shampoo and the most important thing of all: Flip-flops.
Yeah I shower at the gym, when I trained at my rugby club gym there was no showers accesible unless a team was training or a match was being played and I used to hate driving home all sweaty and feeling like shit. And my new gym is a bit out of my way, so I tend to make shop trips on my way back and I like to be clean when in public. Plus my gym really is exceptionally clean, showers and changing rooms included.

I train after my work and frankly, I just don’t see the point of showering right away when it 6-8:00 PM instead of waiting for the next morning, like usual.
Beside, your priority after training should be to feed yourself, not showering.
