Home is in between the gym and work for me, so I just head home.
In the past when that wasn’t possible I’d shower at the gym though. Just gotta make sure you got your flip flops.
When I used to go to a commercial gym, Yes I did shower there. Truth is most people tend to be insecure about their physique. On another note the gym where I used to workout had decent showers (clean etc) so why not?

Seriously, if some of you knew what I see in a clinic on a daily basis, you wouldn’t shower in public much either.

i keep sweating for a while after i train so i go home eat cool down and them shower if i didnt sweat so much id probly shower in the gym.

No I don’t shower at my gym and never will. I have seen guys who shower there who have the worst hygeine, even some of the workers. Guys taking showers barefoot, …(shivers up the spine). There should also be some kind of locker room etiquette too.
If you shower at the gym, cover your shit up the moment you get out, don’t walk around with your ass hanging out like you are at home. No one wants to see it, so cover it up. Don’t try to shave, do your hair, or other gromming while nakes. Put a towel around your ass for fuck’s sake. Some guys are sitting there trying to talk to you while they are naked, wtf is wrong with people? I swear I am afraid to think about some of these people’s homes with how they manage themselves at the gym.
i like taking showers at the gym. if only to create awkward situations with other members.
i like bringing a toothbrush into the gym, squeezing red zone bodywash onto it, and srubbing my body with it. or squirt some bodywash in my hand, and then flick it around to another guy.
awkward.
I don’t even like showering at friends and relatives houses, so forget a public place.

Alternating cold and hot showers (same idea as with contrast baths - there are a few recovery articles on here (e.g. by Dan John) that mention these). It’s nice to have two shower heads for this - just jump from one to the other every few minutes.

I dont shower at the gym,I live 5 min drive and dont have to pay for the water at home anyway,plus everyone that showers at my gym tend to come out smelling worse.

If I had to shower at the gym I’d be hauling a luggage bag in. I prefer my own shampoo and conditioner instead of the low quality everything wash, not to mention shaving cream (and oil, lotion, face wash etc.).
