Do You Know the Secret?

Wow, I’m shocked that people want to find an easy way to success and riches. And there is always someone out there willing to write a book, or in this case a video to give you all of the SECRETS in order to make your life perfect. LOL hey this has never happened before has it?

Spend hours on what? Personal growth and contemplation?

No offense taken, man.

Have you read think and grow rich?

This documentary is just a shorter blockbuster version of that.

Yeah, but you realize that its the same shit written over and over. This is just a new package for the same thing: The Law of Attraction.

And Edders aren’t you the dude with the bad attitude? In this thread: http://www.T-Nation.com/readTopic.do?id=1334464&pageNo=1#1335911

Way to go dipshit.

Yes, I’ve read it.

It’s funny how many replies this thread has received…

Well, I hope people are smart enough to think for themselves and know ‘enlightenment’ or ‘all of life’s answers’ can’t be found in a book, movie, Internet site, etc.

They can find good IDEAS in those mediums, though.

Thanks, man.

I thought the secret was going to be someone coming out of the closet.

Sorry Nate, I’m afraid that you’re wasting your time trying to enlighten many of the posters on this forum. It’s seems that anytime someone introduces theories or ideas here that are ‘different’, they are ridiculed and maligned. Just read over the posts regarding ‘Deconstructing Paul Chek’.

Most people will never ‘get it’ and as a consequence will live out their entire existence in stubborn and blind ignorance. Count yourself as one of the lucky ones who does get it… I’m guessing that’s why you’re doing so well thus far in life.

Nah, none of that.

The only people in the closet are Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and maybe R. Kelley.

This is NOT NEW. Its just not mainstream.

Arnold Schwarzenegger used this. Except he called it visualization.

He imagined himself winning bodybuilding contests and appearing in action mevies before actually doing that.

And look where he is now.

Moviestar, Bodybuilder and Governator.

So to all these fools who keep ragging on tis… continue doing it fellas. You’re only shafting yourselves. Ridicule this all you want.

But know this: many people have used this to their advantage, they have become VERY VERY successful. Everyone from businessmen to athletes. And this is one of the things they attribute their success to. (alongside hard work & motivation.)

Who’s laughing now? Who’s got millions in the bank? Who’s got the title as the greatest basketball player, the greatest golfer, the richest man?

Here’s a hint: It’s not the skeptic.

Yes, you are far more enlightened than I am. I will enjoy my blissful ignorance, not knowing what intention manifestation is, and not internalizing all this great and totally new way of thinking. It’s not like intention manifestion is common knowledge to anyone who’s remotely charismatic or anything…

I am glad you cleared this up for me though, sometimes I get bogged down with reality and I need people who are more intelligent than me to vaguely explain why I’m essentially a barbarian. Maybe one day I’ll get it like you, and ascend to a higher plane of existence, like the Ancients from Stargate. Or maybe I’ll get rid of some of my body thetans. Even more possible, I’ll kidnap a homeless man, put him in a suit and start introducing him to people as my spiritual advisor.

Am I considered one of the fools who is ragging on this? If I am, I’ll go buy a clown outfit and come back to continue posting in it.

Jeez, I think someone needs a hug…
HardcoreHorn wrote:
The idea of the Law of Attraction is not simply that thinking of something brings it to you. Thinking of what you want, on the other hand, brings WHATEVER IS NECESSARY to accomplish your goal.

One day a person decides he wants to stop being so skinny and build a muscular frame. By focusing intently on this goal, and believing that he will succeed, he will attract through universal forces certain “things” to succeed. These “things” may be the motivation to start going to the gym, a sudden idea to check the internet for information on building muscle, which will lead him here, or he may even attract certain people who he will interact with and possibly have oppurtunities open up to him through his interactions with this person.

So the Law of Attraction does not imply inaction. It only states that you attract into your reality that which you focus on or think about.

To give a real life example, I’ll use myself. Last year I was in my dormroom eating pizza with a friend. During that time (and still now) I thought of nothing but my goals to fight evil and become a Navy SEAL. A knock comes at my door, and it is at that moment that I meet my now best friend and room mate, Sandro.

He saw the pizza man come and he was starving and asked if he could get some. After talking to him for a while, I find out that he is basically like me in every way: He loves fighting, wants to make the world better by destroying evil, wants to be a Navy SEAL, and loves the Disney Channel.

So, what are the chances that the person who comes to my door is JUST the person I need to help me succeed in my goals? That’s the Law of Attraction.
For some reason I don’t see the SEAL’s in either you or your friends future. However, I could be wrong. Maybe you could be crimefighter superheros like that one duo however.

Maybe you better clean up your own act before trying to attack others you clueless twit.

If you have 90 minutes (or more) and want to save yourself $4.95, go to a public library and start at shelf 158.

Start out by picking up John Assarafs The Street Kid’s Guide to Having it All.`

While youre there, pick up Jack Canfields The Aladdin Factor. (Hmm… He MUST know “the secret” to the lamp.) You may also want to try the volumes of Chicken Soup for the *insert any collective group of people here* series.

Also while there, dont forget to pick up Dooleys Infinite Possibilities, the Art of Living Your Dreams. Get it on CD so at least you can do something productive while listening to it, like driving to the gym.

And don’t pass by Dwoskin’s Happiness is Free, And It's Easier than You Think! Book 1 (guess he needs at least two for completeness) and The Sedona Method. (Very mystical title!)

Moving on to section 332, dont miss Demartinis How to Make One Hell of a Profit and Still Get to Heaven. (Its a tofer` on secrets, sinful wealth and getting into the Pearly Gates.)

In section 658, be sure and pick up Doyle’s Gain Management: a Process for Building Teamwork, Productivity & Profitability Throughout Your Organization.

The list goes on. And theyre all teachers of The Secret. And if you look hard youll find similar works written in EVERY generation.

You may also want to check out the publishers of these books as Im certain youll find many to be self-published ? interpret that however you will.

BTW, did Demartini really say on Larry King that many years ago he wrote down a goal of being on the Larry King show with a panel of proclaimed self-help experts and that he basically willed it to happen, and it did? He should produce that document.

The only secret is that there is no secret?

That be them. Living the dream together while munching on pizza while watching the Disney channel doesn’t invoke images of hell week. Maybe he was joking.

It was sarcasm to a retarted post. I wasn’t berating anyone by saying: You shouldn’t look at T-Nation at Work. I hope you GET FIRED and other stupid shit like that.

“I’m a tax payer and thus have the right to visit the school board and discuss Mr. Teachers activities. If enough parents felt as I do he would be out of job.”
-Edders.

In response to the dude who wanted to surf T-Nation in his free time at school.

Here is some more:

“If I had a young son or daughter who happened to walk in on you while you were gazing at the pics I’d make sure you were fired.”
-Edders

In relation to the NON-PORN pics of CLOTHED Men & Women scattered throughout the site.

So tell me Edders. Still feel pompous?

edit: WTF EDDERS? I just reread the quotes agian.

“If I had a young son or daughter…”
VS.
“If enough parents felt as I do…”

You must be fucking stupid man. This isn’t even any of your business NOR do you have any kids to give your opinion. Like you’re concerned about the kids or something.

“When I have kids in 20years or never… I’m going the be REAL SOUR when this here teacher is surfing a Bodybuildng site while them younguns are learning and such.” {rocking chair noise}

And just so yall know what a BAD attitude I got:

"So you mean eat healthy natural foods? And a balanced diet containing things like fruit, nuts fish oil, and complex carbs?

This is a breakthrough!!!

Someone PM Berardi. Quick."
-Me. In relation to the Biblical Nutrition diet.

This is what Dipshit, I mean Edders was referring to.

WOW. I’m such a jackass.
