People turn into idiots for some reason when they see a large bodybuilder in a tank top. Some skinny guy could wear the same shit and none of the negative crap would ever surface.

Yep.
Back in the mid-90s, my wife and I frequented Kinkos for large copies for our graphics business. The counter guy was a thin and nerdy dude who has always shown to be extremely polite to everyone.
One day we’re there for more copies when a very well proportioned/conditioned BBer walks in wearing a black tank top, cargo shorts, a few bracelets and necklaces, and had long black hair pulled back into a loose ponytail. The guy looked great and walked with a reserved confidence. Everyone in the place looked his way.
He awaited his turn, proceeded to the counter and politely requested some copies… when he was suddenly cut off by the nerdy counter guy. Obviously something snapped in the nerdy counter guy as he loudly bursts out several insults while describing how rude the BBer is and that he should leave now and put some clothes on.
The BBer quietly left the premises while the nerd continued to murmur angrily under his breath. My wife and I were stunned. It was obvious the BBer made the nerd feel so insignificant that it completely changed his mild-mannered demeanor.

that bber was to nice. my reaction, would have gotten me arrested.
Yes, that BBer was too nice. He didn’t even get service at Kinkos that day. He was just insulted to his face and asked to leave. He could have at least filed a complaint with headquarters (and he just might have for all I know), or he could have had a tantrum and collared the nerd.
But I remember he handled himself with grace and dignity… something that isn’t always associated with large muscular men. Kudos to him.
…and the sad thing is it won’t change a thing. People will still stereotype every big guy they see as being a “show off” or a meat head if they wear anything that shows their muscles at all. It is like it just pulls all of the insecurities out of the people around them.
That is very ironic seeing as every big guy gets labeled as the insecure one as if the act of getting big muscles means there is something wrong with you.
Kai handled himself well in that video though. People who act like jackasses like that guy who followed them piss me off…and there are too many of them.
If fat people got this much lip service there would be congressional hearings about it.
