i dont know what all that means. are you saying you dont get as much from raw eggs as you do cooked? i think thats true cause when i eat raw eggs i have really nasty farts and have to shit a lot more.

yeah, your body can absorb 50% of the protein from raw eggs, and 91% of the protein from cooked eggs. Now I guess we know where the rest of it goes

Me too I used to fart like a madman after eating raw eggs, I thought it was pretty funny, not my wife. But now I blend them with raw almonds, raisins, walnuts (delicious!)…when I feel lazy I just drink them straight with 2 tablespoon of olive oil and no crazy fart anymore or at least far fewer. Just slowing down the emptying of the stomach seems to do the trick…

4 raw free range eggs with splenda + oats for breakfast everyday.

Does the anabolic diet seem like its more for ecto’s? i cant see an endo benefitting from 2 full carb up days and also he talks about always staying under 10% bf. i’m sure that can be adjusted but it seems like it was originally meant for naturally lean people

sorry, for some reason i thought i was posting in the “my experience on the anabolic diet” thread

ok so does that 50% thing only apply to the protein or for all of the nutrients?

so if one egg has
4.5g fat = 40.5 calories
1g carb = 4 calories
6g protien= 24 calories but only 12 because u get 50%

so would the egg still give 56 calories? or 50% of the whole egg so only about 34 caloires?

If its good enough for the Hulkster, its good enough for me

Do any of you eat raw eggs? I’ve been thinking about switching over from soft boiled eggs to raw eggs for breakfast. My only concern is about getting sick. How high is the chance of getting sick from eating raw eggs compared to boiled eggs? Is there any way to determine if an egg is bad before you eat it?

I don’t really care about the taste. Boiling the eggs and peeling off the shell takes too long. I’d just break a few into a glass and drink that.

I’ve heard a doctor say that one in two hundred contains salmonella. This was a few years ago…maybe it’s safer now. Honestly, it’s not worth it. I’m pretty sure eating them raw doesn’t make them any better for you.
