Man strength is a term me and my highschool buddies used to use to describe an adult who is strong despite their lack of physical activity and muscle. We believe it was bestowed upon them at the age of 30 as a reward from the heavens for having lived a somewhat physical life growing up. These types can be physically unassuming, but are still stronger than most highschoolers who actually look strong. Despite their sedentary lifestyle, they can carry furniture upstairs that would make the most formidable jocks sweat.
Did any of you older guys ever get stronger out of nowhere after puberty?
It refers more or less to muscle maturity. Didn’t Sarychev’s coach talk about him being only 22 and that he’ll get his full “man strength” at age 30???

This actually reminds me of my neighbor growing up. I personally watched this older (mid 40’s) lanky mofo carry a transmission to a 350 chevy around on his shoulder, up a ladder, and into a boat.
