DMSO and Neural Toxicity?

DMSO is popular ingredient among transdermal homebrewers. It dissolves compounds very well and is considered to increase absorption better than anything out there. It seems most recipes call for 10-20% concentrations of DMSO while others are using just straight DMSO.

I’ve got a bunch of Testosterone and Boldenone base powder at my disposal and was planning on putting it to use in the form of a transdermal concoction containing DMSO. But, today I stumbled across this article regarding possible neurotoxicity of DMSO:

Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) Produces Widespread Apoptosis in the Developing Central Nervous System

Comments from anyone who is able to discern the implications of this study?? Could rubbing a few ml worth on your skin everyday for a number of weeks be something to worry about? I might use quite a bit of it in order to run a fairly significant dose of both Test and Bold.

In fact, given the relatively low absorption rate even while using DMSO, I figured the amount I would apply each day would be determined by the amount of skin irritation I could handle, which might be quite a bit.
