damn u know the way to my heart! ![]()
glad to see u got a good rest week in and that ur feeling better.
decided to combine workouts c3 and d3 today so i can have the deload week end next sunday.
i superset the accessory stuff for the deads and mp and just took 1 min rest between each.
my grip was so damn shot at the end i had to forego the hanging knee raises and only did three sets of chins. i’ll get in some core work this week.
workout:
deadlift: 155 x 8; 185 x 5; 225 x 5; 255 x 3; 285 x 6
military press: 55 x 6; 65 x 5; 75 x 5; 80 x 3; 90 x 7
dl: 155 x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10
mp: 50 x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10
w8ed chins: + 10 lbs x 4, 4, 3
59 mins----avg hr 122----355 cals burned
i did this workout while watching the bengals game center synopsis bullshit. they hooked me up with a touchdown the second my feet hit the ground on the last set of chins.
dude home work out sets ups are badass, i miss mine. that afternoon sounded perfect you just described…well besides the sports, but the general working out with the tube on at home biz…
and i don’t need to tell you but stellar job lady

just sayin.
pansy ass little bed wetter. u want a soft and fuzzy teddy for your poor widdle hands?
yeah a home set up has its ups and downs. i envy gyms their heavy dbs and glute ham raise machines. and all the hot buns.

does my avatar look weak!?!? i still love her. haha
there’s a pic or two in my profile and i’ve posted video/pics on earlier couple pages of this journal.
i pack a big chunk of extra bacon around my middle… but my legs and arms are pretty twig like. =+/
lower back feels great this morning. dash of doms. i’m glad 531 has written in deloads cuz i’m horrible about taking them.
but i’m determined to stick with the plan. so i’m actually excited for this deload.
i’ve raised the calories this last week…but i’ll probably take a couple low cal days this week.
wow, I don’t see any bacon! what are you talking about, woman?!
stellar progress!!! beefcake like even…in a good way ![]()
That’s some good lifting right here.

I certainly understand the concept of de-load for someone like you who actually lifts heavy stuff. Not so sure it applies to me quite yet.
Since I’m still learning proper deadlift form, I can gauge the success of my session by what is DOMSing the next day – too much lower back, and I’ve probably not been using my glutes/groins enough. Today my butt and hammies are sore but my back is fine. Score one for me!
Your deads make me want to curl up and die in shame. Awesome lifting. What Kimba said, really - trying to fix my form at the moment. I tend to lift with a round back. Not ideal if I want to keep my discs in tact.
Your deads at our size blows my mind. Damn good job.

eh. my love handles are really beefed up at the moment. not a look i like. at all.
therefore i’m tracking my nutrition and hitting certain macro goals daily. no fun. can’t wait to bulk and put some more mass on mah ass.

it doesn’t matter how much one is lifting. u are still lifting weights that are heavy for YOU… and therefore ur body is getting the same percentage of work in a way… and needs a serious break every now and then to perform at its best.
just think… do you want to be the person who is regretting not taking a week’s rest (or light lifting for a week) every now and then because they totally burned out and wasted a BUNCH of time and effort when a short break is all they needed to be back in peak condition in no time? =+D see!
i don’t know what to say on the lower back doms comment. do you pull sumo? if not i think u make be taking form advise a bit too literally. doing a bit of the good ol “overthinking” we all tend to do. i’m not saying be careless… don’t let the lower back round…keep ur core super tight… drive thru the heels… etc… but we all have different body types and sometimes overthinking a lift will just get u going in circles. the idea that lower back doms after deadlifting would be a sign of doing something wrong… .doesn’t really make sense to me. i agree there should be a lot of posterior chain action going on… but the back is getting a damn good workout too…and can easily result in doms.
anyways… don’t mean that to sound bitchy in any way! just my two cents. i think u should focus on figuring out that form… but don’t forget that all the reps you are doing are getting you stronger and to adjust to that added strength. we’ve all been exactly where you are. shit most of us who lift still have to give ourselves a million cues and readjustments on the big lifts. especially those damn squats!! but just don’t be scared to add some weight.
any new pics kimba?!??! ur back is the absolute best! dreamy.
smart. don’t take risks with ur lower back. get that core strengthened up. maybe check out combat core or something. and unilateral stuff with the barbell on ur back (lunges, bulgarians, etc)

dude… it’s just my bodytype. my back packs on the meat and strength no prob. just like my waist/lovies pack on the fat no prob. add to that a short, thick torso and long strong arms… it’s just a genetic draw.
my squat and presses are mediocre. increasing those will make me mucho happy cuz they’re much harder for me.
monday night football.
i’m such a boy with the sports thing.
and the beer thing.
and the butt worship thing.
lol
the makeup and bra give me away tho. damn.
a huge storm is coming in tonight. we built our first fire. yay!! cry… but yay.
Oh, fires!
I have a love-hate relationship with autumn – love the crispness and leaves, hate dressing for the cold.

i know exactly what you mean. the crispness is to die for.
the thing i hate the most is knowing the trees will be bare for MONTHS AND MONTHS. i find it horribly depressing around february when there are still no fuckin leaves.
but it’s also fun getting out ur winter clothes and getting to wear the stuff you got at the end of last cold season. =+)

OH, the PW barbies. Didn’t think it’d be you two.
Ok but I’ll ditto Alisa’s feelings about fall, and fires.

ok miss “waaah, i lost all my designer bags, waaaah”
the gf and her sister didn’t get to carve pumpkins as kids… so they love getting plastered and doing some damn COMPLEX carvings. luckily for us we have an entire pumpkin stand on the property so i’m guessing there is going to be some insane shit done this year. if anyone has a suggestion… holla.
[quote]dejavued wrote:

I didn’t LOSE them. It’s not like, “Oops! where did they go?” more like godfuckingdamnit I cant believe i was a retarded sandy cunt and gave back bags that are more expensive than I will be able to buy for myself for a long time if ever. To a fucking paranoid, cheating, pathological liar convinced he’s in the Russian Mob and conning his parents out of tens of thousands of dollars at a time. oh, and a felon.

bake the seeds in a bath of butter, Worcestershire, and lawry’s seasoned salt, spread out onto a cookie sheet at 300. Stir every 5-6 min, total of 30 min.
then mail them to me.
oh and take pics of the pumpkins.

I hadn’t thought of it that way, but you are making good sense. When looked at that way, I am way overdue for a deload.
I do pull sumo, and noticed a difference immediately in back soreness as opposed to pulling conventional. If I’m not doing a good job pulling back in the sumo position, I do feel it more in my back.
But me? Overthink something? NEVER! (actually, that is totally like me).
Thanks for the encouragement and the advice. I really appreciate it, and it helps alot.
A well-placed bitch slap works too.

wrong answer! =+P
crazy ass rain storms the last 24 hours.
worst milking ever… goats hate water. i also managed to crack my head on the garage door and now have a cut, a purple egg on my forehead, and i STILL have a headache 16 hours later.
yesterday was a deload on bench/squats. worked out perfectly since the rain made mah squat rack unaccessible.
workout:
squat: 85 x 6; 95 x 5; 110 x 5; 115 x 5; 125 x 5
bench press: 55 x 6; 80 x 5; 85 x 5; 90 x 5
some random accessory stuff

did the cut let out the stupid? Let us know what the egg hatches.
