i’m gonna clean up my nutrition a bit… i’m getting seriously chubby. gonna try to keep the popping a top to a couple nights a week. and only 2-3 each time. i’ll probably do a couple low carb days next week during the deload too.
boring…but we’re going to vegas in early december and if i wanna spend a minute in the hot tub i better get my shit straightened out a little.
remember, remember the 5th of november…
pop a top reduction…
so you and i will both be regulating our booze consumption…me more like not more than one day a week, more like 2 days a month but those 2 days might contain one bottle minimum vino for me. last night we were at the misses’ auntie/uncle’s house. their wine cellar has 450+ bottles…no way to avoid the wine drinking last night, but i did slow it down considerably and had a ton of water while they kept drinking…till 130 am.
why you say vegas boring? and what am i missing in regards to remembering today? or are you telling yourself to remember your reduced pop topping?

yesss
and we’re trading places. I’m slamming junk food trying to break 130.

no i meant the cleaning up the nutrition was boring. vegas = very, very NOT boring.

i’m jealous of you rc! i love junk and feel great eating it. are you ever gonna hit 132???
workout:
bench press: 55 x 10; 75 x 6; 100 x 5; 115 x 3; 130 x 3 (PR)

I was born in Southern Cali and lived all over til I was 7, then moved to vegas til I was 16…until my mom kicked me out…
I’m going going back back to Cali Cali!!
Had to live with my sperm donor of a father for awhile(Cali), thats when I bailed and joined the circus, I mean the Navy ![]()
I didn’t turn out too bad though!! Vegas is way more fun when your of age! My mom still lives there and its always fun to go back.
Happy cleaning up the diet…yer right, it is boring. I want nachos.
Remember indeed…
Yeah, not eating sucks, but benching 130 is awesome!

That is some hot-stuff benching and rowing. I swear that I’m rowing the 40# dumbbell this week if it kills me…

wow that’s a pretty eventful childhood. bummer ur mom kicked u out. damn! were u a hellian?
my gf’s name is kali (pronounced cali) so EVERYONE sings that song when they meet her. lol
i can’t WAIT for vegas.
thanks alisa & kimba. good luck with those 40’s!! i SO need to get my hands on a couple heavy dumbbells.
dude tripped 130! damn!
I don’t think I was bad, per se, just circumstantial ![]()
Although I did some pretty crazy stuff, I knew I was still good inside…never did anything to cause harm to others though! It was just a matter of trying to find a sense of belonging like most disgruntled teens battle with! My mom was married and divorced 4 times by the time I was 15, so ya!
We all have our own story to tell, huh?
Anyway, enough about moi!
Good work with the benching!!
thanks rc. i’m stoked on that one!
wow divorced 4 times. i can’t even imagine.
worked about 10 hours today (8.5 at office job, 1.5 farm stuff this morning).
wasn’t planning on deads til tomorrow… but since i put a beef brisket in the crockpot all day and came home to the fabulous smell… i figgered i just had to see how many reps i was gonna manage for that 300. calories have been pretty low the last couple days so i was gonna be happy with anything over 2.
workout:
deadlift: 135 x 8; 185 x 5; 235 x 5; 270 x 3; 300 x 5 (PR)
hell fuckin yeah!!! so happy with that. all raw too. just some chalk for the last 3 sets. woot!
gonna do the accessory deads after military presses tomorrow when i have a big chunk of time.
gotta get some rice and broccoli cooked before kali gets home in a couple minutes.
300 for 5! That is some crazy-big pulling. And, dinner sounds delicious
fuck you dude.
thanks kimba! i’m so happy with it. it wasn’t long ago i could BARELY get a couple singles at 300.
fuck u too rc. =+)
workout:
military press: 55 x 8; 65 x 5; 75 x 5; 85 x 3; 95 x 4 (PR)
superset:
mil press: 55 x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10
speed dl: 185 x 5, 5, 5, 5, 5 (form focus)
chinups: bw x 7, 7
took a quick vid of the chinups. shoulda pulled the blinds on the window. oops.
come on bengals!!!
time to deload and concentrate on some fat loss this week. eh.
Good chins but what the hell is that music?!!
Wow I want your presses.
Question: does your back arch on military press? I’ve been hesitant about going heavy because I arch a lot (backwards) – does that happen to you?
Cal Jones wrote:

lol…i actually don’t see any music showing up yet… but i picked the “random” so i think it just picks any song that is around the same length as the video. anything beats the shitty sound of background noise on the low quality video setting i used. =+)
on the chins i’m noticing i’m totally dominating with my right arm and kind of leaning to the right. need to work on that.

interesting. i try to keep my spine in a neutral position… but i notice when i do get a big arch i feel stronger.
i’ve realized i never thought to much about mp form. today was the first day i video’d it and i noticed on the first set that my grip is super close. i widened it out a bit and that felt pretty good.
and i have no idea what you ARE supposed to do with ur back. i just go with what feels like a natural stance. i keep my core really tight and try to have a solid base but not use any leg drive. i’ve seen videos of guys that lean WAY back though. hmmm. maybe i should research that… or if someone knows help us out. thnx.
I peeked and looked at your other vids as well…teehee…
Is that you deadlifting?!
