Disney's Agenda Leaked

Thanks. Now I NEED to watch the videos lol. If I fail my exam, I’ll blame Disney.

I ask because you brought The Villages up in a way to suggest DeSantis hypocrisy.

Maybe I read you wrong though, and you brought up The Villages for other reasons we can only guess at.

I’ve developed over 100M in commercial properties in central Fl. I have a problem with special districts for certain reasons but especially when they are created to expedite the expansion of a monetized entertainment agendas. I have projects in Seminole, Osceola, Orange County, and the City of Orlando. I have to follow the rules and develop within the standard confines of each municipality’s regulations. Disney set up Reedy Creek and uses it to circumvent the standard process, ease their developments, control the happenings on their land etc. Why don’t you take issue?

But as @twojarslave mentioned your comparison to the Villages makes little sense anyway to the purpose of this thread or the conversation in general. What is your intent in commenting here or making the comparison?

You keep asking the same question over which is why your rhetoric is dense. As I will now state a third time the answer to your question has already been given. Must I quote myself to show you? Simple answer is “I would not be ok with that content for my children” and reasons why are already explained prior.

Do you have a genuine interest in the representation of homosexuals in entertainment media? If so, why?

I am not asking to bait or criticize. I am simply asking out of sincere curiosity in this post as I did before, when I inquired to the group here previously about the rise in interest in homosexuality amongst heterosexual men in recent years.

But you’d be ok with the hetero version?

I’d like to see proportionate representation in entertainment media so kids can grow up without looking at gay folks as weird, or odd, and will have less internal struggles should they turn out gay. For such a common occurrence it still carries a negative stigma, as evidenced by certain posters aversion to homo vs hetero storylines in fairy tales.

Why would people have a problem with Gay Sleeping Beauty?

Why do you feel this is a common occurrence? What do you consider a common occurrence comparatively?

You’re comparing a 1959 movie to our topic of Disney’s current agenda. Would I be ok with it? Honestly, I haven’t seen Sleeping Beauty since the 80s when I watched it as a kid on VHS. I don’t have a strong enough recollection to say one way or another as I don’t recall how strong the content of sexualization was. What was acceptable in 1959 was a lot of misogyny that is devoid in current films as well. If anything, this aspect, the female hero lead / male misogyny, has swung well past center to the other direction as @mnben87 implied. Have anything in the past 10 years you want my opinion on instead?

I thought less than 3% of the adult population is homosexual, but I could be wrong.

You are wrong. Estimates range from 5_10%. To me, that is very common. In a 300 person high school class, 15-30 kids will be gay.

Let’s say it is 3%, that’s still 9 people. That’s significant.

Some people in this world don’t condone homosexuality. So they don’t want it in public view.

That’s one reason. Perhaps there are others.

Don’t watch the movie then?

Some people don’t condone interracial marriage. They’re pricks, and the probly shouldn’t watch movies with mixed race romanticism.

That’s one way to do it, I suppose.

I see a lot of virtue signaling. So you’re right and we are all wrong or ‘pricks’ as you call it for not seeing the world through your lens? Seems pretty par for the liberal course. See it like me or you’re evil.

Is there a source for this? Alfred Kinsey estimated 10% but I think he was proven wrong.

What would you call someone who didn’t want any Jews in children’s movies, or found the presence of Jews around his children disturbing?

Conservatives, republicans, etc aren’t evil by a longshot. look at you go though, announcing your disdain for another large group of people in general.

I’m sorry is this Disney’s agenda? What does this have to do with sexuality which is what we are discussing. Your diverting the topic again as has been done many times. I’ve answered your questions so far, why don’t you answer some of ours rather than continuing to ask more?

Most I answered. Within the last 5 posts.

I’m not the one making negative generalizations of entire groups containing millions of people. You are. Gay folks and liberals. I’ll hear you out and then call you, the individual out for what you blatantly are. Someone who thinks gay folks are unfit for general society.

:face_with_monocle:

He might think that deep down, probably not, but he hasn’t blatantly shown it

The topic is movies and cartoons, not general society
