Disney's Agenda Leaked

Gov. Ron DeSantis wants legislators to end Disney’s special status (usatoday.com)

Go get em Ron! This I never understood even before the woke ideology began over the past decade. Why does a theme park have their own governing jurisdiction? Guess they are about to find out what rocking the boat means to your special ‘antiquated’ privileges enacted in the 60s.

I want DeSantis to be our president so badly I cannot succinctly put it into words. Love everything this man has done in FL

An agenda, first and foremost. And I believe anyone who believes otherwise does not know the nature, goals, or history of sexual revolutionaries. Many Americans always underestimate the seriousness of some people and fail to acknowledge there are actually people out there who mean what they say, act accordingly, and don’t care if they give up money for a desired outcome.

And contrary to popular belief, you don’t go broke if you go woke.

Continuing in what I wrote, there is plenty of literature on sexual revolutionaries over the past 100 years to understand this, going back to the Frankfurt School until the current day, some of which I’ve recommended in threads.

However, with all the legitimate complaints here, and with what I know, I believe the American adult establishment gets what they deserve in any institution whether it’s their children’s education or their president. Hence why I’ve sometimes responded to American lemmings’ complaints, “You asked for or condoned this initially. Why are you complaining now?” That causes them to think a bit if they don’t initially understand what I mean.

Americans are an enormously permissive bunch, generally, but are shocked when reality hits them in the face.

Of course no one individual is responsible, but as a group, yes.

Another thing I didn’t express in my previous posts is my befuddlement with a seemingly increased interest in the subject of homosexuality amongst some heterosexual men and displays of cross dressing on social media by some too, including some big names in the lifting scene. This is peculiar to me.

Can someone chime in on this?

When I was younger, in the 90’s and aughts, what was understood by the me and other men was the simple fact that some men were homosexual and some that cross dressed. I am from NYC, after all. None of the men I knew “hated gays” or mistreated them and I can only think of two men who were “secretly gay”, a term often applied to heterosexual men who have an actual, expressed aversion to homosexuality.

But homosexuality was not a topic of interest. It simply wasn’t discussed often. It was a sort of “to each, his own” policy. Why is it a hot topic now?

I will not engage in any in-depth intellectual discussion about homosexuality in itself, and that goes for homosexual acts, not just orientation, and that’s because I do not have guarantees for self- control (no gaslighting, no emotional blackmail, no ad hominem attacks) from other men. I simply am asking for some input on what I asked.

Regarding sex education, I have two kids, a son (going on five years old) and a daughter (going on three) I see no need to presexualize either of them and I’d rather introduce the discussion of sex regarding where babies come from first, sexual acts for pleasure second, then orientations, and if necessary, paraphilias, fetishes, relationship arrangements, and so on, whether I condone or disapprove of them. I will not leave any topic closed to discussion.

I have seen firsthand what pre-sexualization does. I don’t need any sexuality plastered all over society, let alone in what media children consume.

This comment is too rational. You must be homophobic.

If being 7% of the population is too small a number to be represented on tv, then maybe we shouldn’t have black people on tv either as they are only 12% of the population. Let’s not even talk about Asians or Jews.

People who support privatization believe private companies can do a better job delivering services than the government. Republicans used to be pro-privatization, but I guess those values go out the window when a large source of political contributions dries up.

If this is really about special districts, I’m sure the one governing The Villages will be next up for reconsideration.

So you’d be A-Okay if Disney did a remake of sleeping beauty with two dudes?

What makes you say that? Seriously, you do have the ability to read correct? I mean you are using a forum so it would imply so. Let’s assume you can. You therefore may read above and know your answer.

You say that as a statement of fact rather than your opinion. That is not a fact. Second while you may be right about the Villages, who knows, they are a community district not an entertainment, for profit group of facilities. It’s easy to google the special districts in FL of which there are 1844 most of which are community, fire, drainage or aviation related. Disney’s Reedy Creek Development is an anomaly amongst the approved districts but I think you knew that.

DeSantis has made his concern with Disney’s activities quite clear.

What is your concern with the activities of The Villages?

Exactly I don’t think they are using their special status to make political power plays. I mean the Mouse has some big balls to shit where it eats.

So you would have a problem with it? Why?

I don’t speak “dense”. Bait somebody else.

Pretty simple question. I’d guess it’d be a simple answer.

Edit.

Sorry for the uncalled-for joke that was really crude, and entirely unfit for the PWI forum. I’ve edited that joke out of this post.

An overwhelming majority of American parents don’t want any of this woke gender theory crap anywhere near their young children. This is probably the best starting point to understanding the concerns of people who support something like the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill. If you’re having a hard time understanding why, I’d suggest reading the bill.

This reminds me of the ideal makeup of our next President.

Have you ever seen(or read) “Sleeping Beauty?” There are already way more than two dudes in it. There are SEVEN dwarf dudes.

Which statement? The one about Republicans having historically been pro-privatization? I’m pretty comfortable calling that a fact, but you can change my mind by showing me a pattern of Republicans pushing to nationalize services, industries, etc.

I’m not sure I get your point. Why does it matter if the benefactor of a special district status is an entertainment company or a real estate services company? They both employ Floridians and generate tax revenue.

Here’s what I’m tracking. Disney’s CEO spoke out against a bill DeSantis recently signed into law and paused political donations in the state of Florida. DeSantis asked the state legislature to review Disney’s special district status in a special session. Let me know if this is wrong or incomplete. I’ve been busy lately and haven’t been tracking the news closely.

I have none. Why do you ask?
