As per my previous post last week about plasma vs lcd.
I continue to pursue info. about making the right choice.
Curious how DISH Network customers feel about the service, channels offered etc…
Would love to hear what you think about this service.

Plasma I still think has a more natural picture but if you have a lot of sunlight or light in your watching room…LCDs have less glare and a brighter picture. I guess it depends on where you are planning on putting it.
From everything I hear…plasmas are being phased out. Pioneer has the standard in the Kuro but they are not going to make the plasma panel anymore. I think they are going to purchase them from someone else till they phase them out all together.
I’m happy with Dish. I’ve also had \ Directv. Directv may have a few more HD channels. The reason I like Dish is that the receivers come with a rf remote. This means you can turn the channel when you’re not pointing at the tv. You can even change the channel from another room. I do this when I listen to Sirius while working around the house or messing on the net in my office.
My mom and dad used to use Dish, and it was great except that really bad storms would hinder the signal, although that happened maybe 2-3 times a year. Plus, I live in Oklahoma, so we get some bad ones. I think he canceled it because of cost and switched to cable. The signal quality is the same for both, or at least it is where I live.
