Ok one deal I found was to buy kegs at kegs dot com. They have great deals on used kegs complete with pour hole in the side. whaa hoo. Also I got this idea from another online site I went to a welder and he is going to make me at 2 3/8 inch bar for 40 bucks look online and they are 100+. The bar is done like this A 7 foot piece of 1 1/2" pipe has an outside diameter (OD) of 1.9", which is
perfect for accepting Olympic plates, and a good length for a barbell. Then
a
shorter piece of 2" pipe (48" to 52" long) is slid over the 1 1/2" pipe,
centered, and held it in place with stop collars. The result is a 2 3/8"
thick
bar. 2 3/8" is the OD of 2" pipe.
I am currently talking to Coach D’s to do some sort of hybred renegade/combat/dino training…
What was this about Coach Davies, and combined Renegade/combat/dino training? This sounds like exactly what I’m lookin for. I have done dino training for a couple years, along with normal gym training, and in the last two months, I’ve taken up BJJ classes, to both work on my combat skills, and my cardio. I got a feeling all of it at once is leading me straight into over training, so Knuckledragger, if you’re interested in the combat/dino training, how do you split yours up?
Awsome thread! I recently purchased some diesel(sp) containers that I use for farmers walks. They can hold around 5-6 gallons. They have two sets of handles which I put some 1.5 inch irrigation tubbing around. These things are awsome, filled about half full the water sloshes around and the water pipe turns around the handles. Keep it up, I am very much interested in other training methods and devices.
about kegs, most any college town has tons of them, I got one used real cheap where I’m in college, and keep it here in the room, have entire workouts based on the thing
