Food today. Not so great. Calories still kinda skimpy and most coming from carbs.

Protein shake(1.5 scoops) w/
1 small banana
1/4 cup coconut milk

Animal crackers(had to dash back out the door to the store)
least it was pwo?? *blush

chick peas
roasted carrots
2 tbsp coconut
2 tbsp choco chips

tilapia
green beans
3 hush puppies

Cals- 1359
Carbs- 183!
Fiber- 31.5
Protein- 107.9
Fat- 20 something

At my leanest I was doing a lo carb diet
30 grams or less

Protein and fats…not counting cals, just carbs. Took about 2 months.
Makes me wanna…then again I wasn’t doing as much cardio neither. None actually.

I’m enjoying being more active(especially if I get to eat a bit more)
But if that doesn’t work(eating more) then something’s gotta give.

I find only low carb works for me in terms of dropping weight. When I was training for my half marathon I added more carbs (rice etc) to get me through my long runs and I actually gained weight and fat. I hope it works out for you, though. I really don’t like eating low carb - I find it difficult to function properly. I know you’re supposed to be able to get past that eventually but I always struggle and it impacts my job.

You’re so adorable! And reading your log always makes me hungry regardless of when I last ate. I hope the training picks back up for you. You’re awesome!

Had a wonderful time spending the day with my birthday boy yesterday. Can’t believe he his 10 and just thinking about the next 10 years makes me happy and sad at the same time.

Being sick holds you down in so many ways. It’s paralyzing. Wasted time and energy.
Hopefully I’ll make up for it in the next couple years. Should be pretty sweet if we get to go to HI!!

Cal- I’m not hopping aboard the lo carb train right away. It IS awesome for losing lbs fast and I actually feel BETTER!
I’m not in a rush to cut carbs though, there yummy :frowning:
I wanted to give eating well/doing cardio a chance to see if I can lose anything.
The only thing I’m losing so far is my mobility…my knee aches and now hurts to walk on it :confused:

I maintained my losses over the years from when I did lo-carb and the RFL…so at least I know I CAN lose without cardio, even if I have to get a little ā€˜dirty.’
I don’t really want to do it that way.
I’ll the put the work in and see what happens first. If I started to see some results it would be good for the motivation!

It’s so interesting the differnt AHa of eating that work for us. Lots of my success has come on low verb… But more recently this last time about 100g of carbs a day worked awesome. As one of my former coach’s girls pointed out to me… That’s not traditionL low carbs but its a helluva lot less carbs than the standard America diet.

mims, this is the sprint program I’m following. I’m sure it would work well with a spin bike.

well, you being a girl (a transgendered one but a girl nontheless), your diet is mostly candy and muffins.

I’ve seen the powerpuff girls many times…I know what women are made of and eat.
