ya, kinda intense. My whole year between June '10-May’11 was intense. I think that’s when my hormones went bananas and I was pretty sick but blamed it on the stress of hubby being deployed.

The relief of him coming home resulted in me letting go of all the stress I was holding onto and I felt even worse. :frowning: :frowning:

Thankfully, Hall pointed me in the right direction and I was encouraged and helped along. Women can be soldiers for there little families but we also have to take care of OURselves. Hard lesson to learn.

THat goes for you single girls too. Your so busy with school and work and gym, etc. Take time to slow down sometimes and take care of YOU!

so yesterday’s food was skimpy too. A whole week of skimpy food.
I think I need help.

9am protein shake
w/banana and coconut milk

12pm oat bran wrap
w/1/4 cup shredded cheese
and tuna
2 cups roasted brussel sprouts and
3 large carrots(nom)

tummy hurt from brussel sprouts

Didn’t eat again til 630pm

Deli meat(horrible)
w/a slice of cheese rolled up
(thats a Betty dinner from when the hubby makes deployments haha)
1 tomato

8pm- ice cream…don’t judge!!

But even with the ice cream here are my totals from the day:
1330 CALS
122 PROTEIN
102 CARBS
28 FIBER
53 FAT

Yeah I agree, and some of the stuff we push ourselves for, while even though it is technically for us, its nice to slow down and do something different for ourselves.

Those vids are so sweet MiMsy and your fam are such cuties!

I remember those videos from last year. Time goes by so quickly, and so slowly all at the same time.

Good for you on searching for cardio that works for your body.

yep, time flies. But I think we’ve come a long way from then and only moving forward from now; it’s all good. New adventures await!

Gym time:

face pulls-4x10

Incline DB press- 4x8

Tri set:
1 arm row- 3x12
Corner press/lumberjack squat into a press combo- 4x8

Leg Press- 3x12

Tried out some stationary lunges
3x8very stiff, kinda hurty
But ignored it.

Lat raise/bent over lat raise
3x15

This is EXACTLY what I needed to hear right now, thanks! Very true. It ain’t always about the go, go go.

did you cover those 3 carrots in mayo?

I know ya did…

carrots and mayo?
ew

nope, I roast in the oven with a little canola oil.

pbbbt

Damn.
I’m using myself as something to aspire to.

I think my leanest here ever…and then it started to fall away when the hubby deployed in '10.
Would love to even just get back to this by April. Not sure how much I weighed but it doesn’t matter. I know I’m making progress when I put my arms down to my sides and there are no ‘bat wings.’

And I didn’t even know I ‘had it.’

Hubby just left for deployment depression…size 10’s were too big.

Time to get IT
back!!! (again)

And respect and keep it FOREBBER!!!

I have heard that cute tomatoees are delish!

EDIT: will watch your abso hella totes adorbs videos from my phone later.

Mermaids don’t have teeth??

I want my back back!

I will.

I’m going to take before photos and will maybe post them when I get ‘it,’ back. I’m not as heavy as my starting points in years past but I’ve put on some pounds out of nowhere…mainly when I took my gym break at my sickest…during the holidays of course. But I swearz I didn’t binge eat everyday, so I dunno.

I’m finally starting to feel WELL!! For real.

My Doc is onto something with this addition of T3…I call em my energy pills. That’s pretty much what they are!
