Dig Through the Ditches

Um the hamburger looks NOM…

Honestly sometimes we have off food days. I never worry about a low calorie day… unless it starts turning into several in a row. A Random low cal day no biggie but keep an eye on the trend for sure.

Hang in there lady you got so much stuffs going on man.

I fear ALL of my days have been low cal!

I eat like this all the time. Trying to do better… like eating breakfast! and a PWO shake and then lunch! That’s the plan to start anyway.

Lol at mermaid who can’t swim

Hewwo Betty

HOLY CRAPOOOLI! What a sexy pic. Nice work.

Breakfast Nd PWO shake sound like the perfect placeto start! I really would prefer if your average daily Cals could get up toT
At least 1200

well shit, I probably don’t need the appetite suppressant affects from any supplement.

I ate kinda puny again today. But I didn’t go to the gym. I took my pupp to the groomers(his first time <3)
and went b-day shopping my not so little man. He’s going to be 10 on Saturday!! thud

Running around skipped breakfast and any form of snacks. But if I hadn’t, my cals might have looked pretty decent today.

1230pm- hamburger stuffed with blue cheese and mushrooms
12 asparagus spears

330- protein shake
1 cucumber
(coulda had nuts here or somethin)

6pm- a pork chop
1 tomato
slice of cheese

8pm- protein shake
1 tbsp peanut butter

CALS- 1163
PROTEIN- 128
Carbs- 18.9
FAT- 51

I have severe lat envy!!! Those are amazing!

The elliptical can destroy me with enough tension. Low impact, high intensity. And x2 on whoever mentioned rowing. I do tabata intervals on one once a week or so and it wrecks me.

those are some amazing lats indeed

and a teeny waist

I liked swimming but my shoulder didnt

hang toug minm

That burger sounds so good.

Gimme gimme gimme

Hmm… What those Cals come out to MiMsy?

Srsly some nuts or an ounce of nut butter is not a bad idea… nd I don’t think you need a stack or a stim either LOL.

Mmm blue cheese.
I like nuts but I find it hard to stop once I start eating them (which is how I managed to get through a 2600 calorie bag of trail mix not long ago…oops). So they have no place on a cut for me. If you have the control, though, nuts are pretty good. Macademias are genuinely the healthiest in terms of omega profile, but I love me some brazils. Apparently the selenium in brazil nuts counteracts any mercury you find in canned fish, so whilst I have trouble with moderation, they’re pretty good for me considering all the canned tuna I eat.

Hey Mims!

I have some vids of possible no impact non machine cardio type stuff to do.

db snatch(power version meaning caught high or quarter squat). I’ve done these, they can get the heart pumping for sure, I think I saw that Dasher does them too???

Here’s a db swing but can be done with a kettle bell.

And I think with both of these you might want to put the db on a bench and pick it up from there and then just bend down as far as your knees will let you then start the movement from there.

Serious Lats Mims! Can you do a kipping pullup(easier than strict pull up btw)? They look like serious cardio to me.

If you had 5 heart pumping exercises you could get a nice circuit going. I don’t know if you can tell but I like to problem solve. lol

[edit] last night was supposed to be dl night but my tummy is yucky but will be doing it tonight instead and I will be trying out the farmers walk to see how it is for cardio and the knees.

Thanks for the lat love and all the suggestions regarding getting my cardio on.

Ct- vampires don’t eat cow.

I think my lats are still back there. One good thing about having naturally broad shoulders and a wide back. (as Hall can relate)

Dash- I tried the rower today and it was meh. How do you do tabata on it??

Kev- thats what I’m afraid of about the swimming, is the shoulder. But I want to try.

Cal- your such a nut! :stuck_out_tongue:

Charlie- yes and thanks for the help! I will try out those moves and see. I used to do circuit-y stuff all the time…way more fun than being stuck on a machine!!

I missed spin class this morning but I made my own up on the solo spin bike they have.

First I warmed up on the elipptical and did my rehab.

Spin bike didn’t hurt…spent most of the time ‘climbing,’ to old songs I haven’t listened to in forever. I’ve had the same songs since before the hubby left for deployment nearly 2 years ago but I always skipped a bunch of them because they made me sad while he was away.

So I did 30 minutes of that and was sweating pretty good. My face is still red and I look like a cute tomato.

Then I did 2x15- lying leg raises
Then 2x15- bridges
(alternating)

Then planks- 3x as long as I could. (not very long)

And THEN- some leg kicks to the side, back and across with a band. Harder than the gg/bg it felt. One of the things I did in PT.

Done.

Some of those songs:

He made his deployment video to this song.

Silly. I don’t know HOW MANY times we’ve watched JUST the beginning of this movie

good shit

And I was thinking about this time last year.

Hubby was getting ready to come home for Julia’s heart surgery but first we planned some surprises for the kids. One of which being showing up at our son’s school for his birthday!!

I’ll just leave this here. Good for a little teary-eyed action. Just wanted to share as part of my life that the newcomers may not have been a part of at the time.

ahhhh, nothin sweeter.

Oh, Betty, tear jerkers for sure!

I cried

oh my.

that’s too much! very sweet.
