I am planning my diet to get lean for summer now and am doing the same old things as always, increasing my cardio activity, increasing calories through lean protein sources while cutting simple carbs, and watching my fat intake. But this time I am going to use a thermogenic aswell. My question is how should I treat the thermogenic in my diet? Should I cut down on the increased cardio to allow for it so my body doesn’t get such a deprivation that I will go catabolic, do I increase my protein even more(I am currently eating 290-310g per day and will increase to 320-340g, I am 240lbs and about 20% bf), or do I up my complex carbs or rotate high carb days with my thermogenic? I don’t know if I can mention the brand mane of it but it is Hydroxy something. lol, thanks.
