Hey guys im trying to help my friend go on a diet to lose fat. i made a diet for him and i just wanted to get your opinion on it. Hes 17 years old, 5 9, weighs 160 and im not sure how much body fat he has but u cant see his abs yet, but he doesnt look fat. his body fat is im guessing around 15 to 17 percent. heres the diet i made for him. thanks a lot in advance guys.
MEAL 1 (7:20)
-OATMEAL
-5 EGG WHITES 1 FULL EGG
-1 GREEN APPLE
-1 MULTIVITAMIN
-ALOT OF WATER
MEAL 2 (11:20)
-PROTEIN SHAKE
-BANANA
MEAL 3 (2:00)
-6 PIECES OF CHICKEN BREAST
-1 CUP OF CORN, 15 CARROTS
MEAL 4 (5:00)
-PROTEIN BAR
-TUNA
-BANANA
MEAL 5 (8:00)
PROTEIN SHAKE
MEAL 6 (8:45)
-SALMON
-BROWN RICE
-GREEN APPLE
MEAL 7 (11:30) - (12:00)
-1 CUP OF FAT FREE COTTAGE CHEESE
-10 WALNUTS
-ALOT OF WATER
I say the kids 17 and should not go on a strictdiet to get RIPPED when he’s likely lacking mscle any way and in a stage of life he’s primed to grow and mature he needs calories and not siome anal diet. Id just keep it loose but nail a solid diet of real food, train hard and seee what a few years brings him
in my opinion if he eats that late hes going to be burning that while he sleeps instead of not eating three hours before he sleeps and his body burning pure body fat.

what are his goals no one said that and even if cutting fat it smart to eat prior to sleep and small frequent meals to keep the metabolism COOKING high as well as stave off the possibility of muscle loss over an 8-10 hour fast. and dependent on the meal you can shift the body more toward fat burning in theory.
