actually no, dont eat the entire egg, for every 3 egg whites have a full egg. Just 2 full eggs have the amount of cholesterol that people consume in a day!

I eat 12-15 whole a eggs every day and my cardio vascular is fine. Dietary cholesterol is only dangerous if a processed diet has damaged your arteries already. Also dietary fat and cholesterol, meaning what goes in your mouth, is finally being shown to not be the poison we’ve been led to believe. Even saturated, gooey white animal glycerol in anything like sane amounts.
Wow, I didnt know that, thats for info
-Keep us posted

What do you mean keep us posted? This is something most knowledgeable people already know. Your comments above about cholesterol made it seem like you knew everything, when in reality it was mostly wrong. Not trying to be a jerk, just pointing out how you quoted my egg comment and then decided to tell me about cholesterol when you had no clue. Were you just quoting something you read in Men’s Health?

It IS pretty well known now if you look outside of our media. The problem has NEVER been whole eggs, beef, pork, shellfish, butter etc. or any other naturally occurring food source. Processed refined carbohydrates and trans fatty acids voluntarily consumed in monstrous quantities is reeking havoc on this country that makes Osama Bin Laden look like a door to door salesman.

No not mens health, an exercise science professor at Elmhurst College, he talked to me about egg protein for a little bit. I asked him about egg whites and full eggs.

What the hell is wrong with saying keep us posted anyway…give me a reason…you’re going to tell me you never learn new things that a lot of other people know or things that you didn’t know before?
DLboy wrote:
The cholesterol in eggs is not bad for you. In fact, some people agree that cholesterol is pretty meaningless, it’s actually excess saturated and hydrogenated fats that clogs arteries.
the head dietician at our med school (Penn) actually says the HDL in eggs is perfectly fine and you’re welcome to eat all of them you want.

i’m not saying i agree or not; surely 30 eggs/day every day won’t be healthy, but I will say he knows his shit cold, so there’s likely a significant amount of truth to that statement.

Thanks fellas
ALso have yall ever heard of endurox. Its a post recovery shake and i need something to tide me over until i get my funds back up (i have a gift certificate to gnc…)

And another thing, Are u sure egg centers are not bad… I mean… it cant be “good” i know some of the fats in it are good for you but… the cholesteral… Is it true dietary cholesteral is different from … non dietary (?) Thanks as always… i love this site!
all the bikers and runners i deal with LOVE endurox and accellerade, but most of the straight weightlifters/bodybuilders aren’t big fans. i can’t explain why other than preferences within circles.

spend the certificate, but i hope gnc burns. i hate that place.

yes, the cholesterol is different. you don’t want LDL (bad) cholesterol, but HDL (good) cholesterol, like that found in egg yolks, is generally fine.

Saying “keep us posted” is implying you are waiting for more information on the subject and that Tiribulus is out there gathering it. It just didn’t make sense. Saying thanks for the info was sufficient.

Not trying to be the grammar police, it just irked me.

oh allright, but the thing is I was asking for more information. The whole white egg/whole egg thing has been controversial among many people I have talked to. I just wanted more information about it.

Controversial in what respect. Most people I talk with have no clue about cholesterol and automatically assume since food has cholesterol in it that it is the cause of high cholesterol. They have no concept of blood cholesterol vs. dietary cholesterol, and their eyes would gloss over if I ever tried to explain it. It’s good that you want to gain the knowledge for yourself, but don’t expect anyone else to really ever believe what you say. That would be like trying to tell an overweight housewife in the 90’s that fat is not actually bad for you.

There are quite a few good resources that discuss it. Webmd has a great article on it. Pubmed also touches on it, but I can’t remember in what section.

Well this has turned into a very interesting argument/discussion. With this diet i am consuming i have actually begun to stop gaining at all and went from 190 at one point to now 186 while i know that prolly water weight cause im maintaining strength or increasing but, iv lost weight. and oddly enough, my 6 pack is starting to fade away. Now i know this is prolly normal for “bulking” but… i lost some weight as well :-/ im very confused… but im going to continue to take in a billion carbs all throughout the day with lots of protein and im going to add in more good fats in the am like yall said along with more veggies. Thanks for the responses i appreciate it, keep em coming!

one cup milk, one cup yoghurt, three scoops whey protein, three cups fruit; blend. Near 1000 cals. Take twice daily on top of that lunch and dinner. Make your breakfast as big as your lunch. Drink one gallon of milk throughout the day. Add some peanuts or almonds - .5 to 1.0 cups daily. Drop the peanut butter.
