Shit im not even saying i don’t occasionally drink aspartame. It just depends what you consider safe. I rarely if ever go by american FDA standards of safe, considering the political structure of the FDA.
The idea is if you are worried about long term brain health then you should be careful of the amount of free glutamate generating foods that you consume. I am highly at risk for concussions given the amount of shots to the head i take. Concussion recovery is known to be prolonged and brain damage multiplied by free glutamates crossing the Bl/Br barrier.
All I’m saying.
Drink away if you have no history of Alzheimer’s or any other cognitively degenerative diseases.
I would say its a long term health concern if any concern at all. We have yet to see the effects of aspartame consumption on a full genereation of humans. A full generation of rats just does not count toward human physiology, otherwise we would be able to cure diabetes.
