Diet Check

So I’m at 260lbs at 6’2"…
I have no idea what my bf% is precisely but I’ll guess at 25-28%.
Obviously trying to get the blubber off.
here’s pretty much what I started eating on a daily basis…

Meal 1
3eggs
1oz part-skim mozzarella
1serv. Protein powder
8oz non-fat yogurt
1/2 cup blueberries
1tbspn. Flax seed meal

Meal 2
6oz. Chicken breast
1cup broccoli
1oz walnuts

Meal 3
6oz beef
2 boiled eggs
3 cups Spinach
Sprouts
2tbspn
Dressing

Meal 4 (post-workout)
2 serv. Protein Powder
1/2 cup blueberries
1 banana
1tbspn flax seed meal

Meal 5
8oz. Tuna or 8oz. Salmon
1/5 cup pure canned pumpkin

Meal 6
1.5 serv. Protein powder
1 cup of Cottage Cheese

I try to get in as many power foods (from TC’s article “The Magic 13”) as I can

On non-workout days I cut the carbs out where I have my post-workout meal.
I have one free day where i eat whatever i want.
Presently, I’m lifting 5 days/week. I try to get cardio in after my workouts as much as I can, but lately thats only been about 2 times a week 3 if I’m lucky.

The choices look good but what you really need to do is figure out how many calories that is. Then, we can probably help you a bit better.

Also, while dieting, it probably isn’t a good idea to eat dairy for insulin purposes but it doesn’t really lok like you’re going low carb anyway.

well, right now it’s running from 2200-2500 cals. I wouldn’t mind dropping to 2000 but I’m finding it hard to keep my protein up while having a decent fiber intake besides just using a fiber supplement alone.

I got my carbs going at slightly over 100grams on workout days and at 50 on non-workout…
Protein is at about 300 grams/day…I was trying to keep it as close to the T-Dawg diet as possible… however, I’d be willing to cut the carbs way low if everyone thinks there’s really an advantage… like doing carb loading on the weekends or what not. Also, I’m a bit weary about 1.5grams/lbs body weight of protein for me because I’m too over weight and I don’t know my lean body mass…
I have a slow metabolism, so any suggestions are appreciated.
