Has anyone taken DHEA with TRIBEX or is that a waste of money? My DHEA test came back at 170.
Thanks!
I was told by a clerk in GNC that ZMA, tribulus and DHEA are a good mix. It is supposed to be similiar to 1AD. What does everyone think about that?
Does DHEA work and is it safe if you use an anti-estrogen supplement?

i’m interested, too. But you might want to re-post this in the supplements forum.
Whoa, going way back to early '04 for this one. Well, at least it shows you did a search first.
Anyways. . .
I wouldn’t bother with DHEA. There are many reasons not to, but the short of it is, is that it’s just as likely to be converted to estrogen as testosterone. So basically the risk/benefit ratio is pretty damn bad.
But, yes, a tribulus containing product, such as Alpha Male, is definitely a solid option for a T-booster.
Also, ZMA will help you maintain healthy T-levels, as hard-training athletes are often low in zinc.
But, I’m not sure you can really compare any of these to 1-AD or anyother prohormone or steroid. Sure, they are great at what they do, but don’t expect to blow-up over night. Keeping your expectations in check with reality is veryimportant.
Oh, and I wouldn’t rely heavily on the advice of a GNC clerk.
Atmosphere, thanks for your reply. It is obvious that most of these clerks at health stores are full of it. I was hoping I could find the right mix to match a phormone but it is obvious that I can’t take a multi-vitamin and get the same results as steroid.
I am taking T-bomb with a nitro/creatine, also protien and vitamins.
What would you suggest in addition or instead of Alpha Male? What can I take as a T- booster that works and is safe? And what are your experiences with Alpha Male?
Thanks

Creatine and multi-vitamin are good choices. As is a protein supp, but I just consider that food.
If you’re looking for a good supplement stack to help with mass, I’d suggest looking into the Alpha Male / Carbolin 19 combo.
As for my experiences with Alpha Male, I can’t praise it enough. This is going to be long, so just a warning. ![]()
A few years back I went through some heath issues that put my endocrine system through the ringer. In the months following the whole ordeal I felt like complete shit; no energy, sex drive, nothing.
This was around the time I started taking training more seriously thanks to T-Nation (Testosterone back then). I decided to give some supps a go cause my doctors baffled pretty much anything and everything. I picked up Biotest’s T-booster, back then it was TRIBEX 500, and haven’t looked back since.
I’ve used TRIBEX, and now Alpha Male, consistently and noticablly feel better when I’m taking it; there’s definitely something lacking when I’m not, even to this day.
Of course it’s hard to quantify how much muscle or how much fat I’ve lost due to having higher levels of Testosterone, but I can certainly attest to the effectiveness of the product.
Sorry for sharing what I’m sure was more than you wanted to hear, but that’s how much I believe in the product. I’m sure there are others who could chime in about their experiences from a more “normal” standpoint, but my opinion is, if it works for me after what I went through, it will work for you.
Hope this helps!

Alpha Male and ZMA are great supplements for athletes who are walking the fine line between peak-training and over-training.
On a Carbolin 19 / Methoxy-7 / Alpha Male stack I have been able to peak at a significantly higher level w/o the side effects that would have happened if I tried to peak at that level without it.
I cannot imagine if I had started this stack at the beginning of the season.
atmosphere,
thanks for your info. it can never be too much or too long. i will look into the Alpha Male / Carbolin 19 stack.

I have looked everywhere to get info on Alpha Male and Carbolin 19 but have had little luck.
I have seen the nutrition facts on Alpha Male, but I still don’t fully understand what is in both of these products and what makes them work. also, how do they compare to other products and why?
Can anyone give me some details? longer the better.
