The 500 was a beltless PR, felt fast and easy. The deadlifts were brutal. I supersetted those with the hanging leg raises and I felt like puking. I’m having way too much fun training this way, but my body definitely feels the need for a deload. Everything is seemingly coming to plan
…then a wild Dane appeared and I did a very stupid extra bench workout with this guy. He was pretty damn strong, but his endurance was what most impressive. It was very hard to keep pace with him benching.
I felt like my walking out my squats today, I may or not next week, we’ll see how I feel. The high rep deadlifts didn’t feel too bad this time around, I think my body is finally adapting to the training, so I may also add some extra assistant work too if that’s the case next week.

Impressive. Especially after the pulls!
I have been thinking of working on a widowmaker after my upcoming meet, and here you go showing me how.[/quote]
Hahaha, well to be honest, doing sets of 10 was too easy, so I figured why not try a set of 20. Unfortunately, my lungs weren’t prepared for that kind of work. Oh well, pressing on to thinking about next week’s BBB Squats. I can’t imagine doing this on a consistent basis.
Cable Curls - 3xSwole
Rolling Tricep Extensions - 3xSwole
Face pulls - 3xSwole
Got a new toy to play with, the reactive slingshot. It definitely does not give as much as the original one does. I do like and will definitely abuse over the summer when I go back to a normal 5/3/1 template. I definitely recommend this one out of all the slingshot variations for raw lifting.
I regret not getting the reactive version. I have the original red one. Its still nice, but the reactive probably would’ve been a better choice for me.

I think the original still has its merit as a substitute for reverse band work if you don’t access to that kind of equipment
