Recent numbers, nothing to write home about. Sitting at about 230, not feeling awful about it, summer is coming, and with it a lot more outdoor sports with the kids, plus the yearly half marathon in June. Doing some rucking, nothing wild, no running yet ha

Chest, doing an experiment with a Slingshot, found our maxes today on it, gonna run our program with it for 6-8 weeks and then max out without it, see how it does.

405 x about 1" from lock out, that shit is fucking heavy :joy:

315 x 8

We figured out that on your chest it’s about 75lbs of help, 45lbs at ~6" and then obviously decreasing through the range of movement. It’ll be interesting, and it felt cool having 405 out over my face

Squats

Top set 405 x 3

It felt much better than expected, two back days a week feels like it’s giving me a stronger squat for sure, I think it’s helped make up for dropping deadlifts, because while I love them, I feel like that juice just wasn’t worth the squeeze anymore (move my log to ‘I’m too soft for real lifting’ :joy:)
