I haven’t had a solid plan with my front squats, so I am going to start doing them 5-3-1 style along with my deadlifts. If my elbow is feeling up to it, I’ll add in OHP and bench on a regular basis. I’m feeling very optimistic right now.

Alexus - not a stupid question, BBB stands for Boring But Big. It is an option in the 531 program for assistance work. Basically a 10 x 5 of the main lift for the day plus 10 x 5 of another assistance move like chins, dips etc.

Last night’s workout was half-assed due to me having the election results on TV and crazy lower back DOMS. The intensity wasn’t there, but I think it beat sitting on the couch.
After pressing, I went for a short hard bike ride to actually feel like I did something.

Nice OH pressing LS. Sometime mixing it up by getting outside on a run, or a bike is just what the Dr. ordered. Yea for not vegging out on the couch, although that can be good sometimes too! I think the technical term is deload.

After dinner I rode my bike out to the school field and pulled out one of my stunt kites. It doesn’t generate a lot of power, but it sure is fun to zip around the sky. I had some kids come out and join me for a bit with their kite - which they proclaimed was “much awesomer” then mine. They also wanted me to try tying a barbie doll to mine so it looked like she was hand gliding.
And now I have got it in my head that I also need to get a kite buggy (sit down, three wheeled unit) so I can power kite without risking my knee on my land board.

i used to overhead press more than i squatted :-/ thats changing now, but mostly because my pressing has atrophied, i’m ashamed to say.
weighted vest sounds cool. as does the kite buggy.
thanks for the explanation about BBB - i never would have guessed. though it might be BarBell Bench but that didn’t seem to make much sense… got it now.
