Awesome drawings. And Gladiator Duel sounds like a very fun game.
That’s one hell of a conditioning workout, you’ll reach that short term goal in like, a week if you keep that up haha
Great to see you back at it.

Seems like a couple of us are working on the sucking wind issues.
That workout looked brutal but you’ve got that BW bench in the bag. Looking forward to reading about you reaching those goals LS.
MiM - I found out about the Tough Mudder over the holidays. It is a 7-10 mile run/obstacle course usually staged at a ski resort. They are run all around the US and are just starting events in Canada. It isn’t so much a race as it is a challenge to complete. There’s mud, water, fire, snow, walls and other crazy tough looking obstacles to get through. I’ve never done any endurance events before so this seemed interesting to train for one year. Much more interesting that just straight running.
Nikki - Thanks! We’ll see how long I can keep the intensity up.
N - I was feeling pretty barfy at times… lol!
Last night was our first karate class of the new year. The kids had piles of energy which is always great. It was quite a fun and energetic class. I got a good sweat on.
We had one of our student instructors come in with the top half of his head shaved too. He has really curly hair which made it all the more ineresting - made me think of Larry from the 3 Stooges. Apparently he got $60 fo doing it and he has to keep it that way for a couple of weeks. We were mean and made him do the warm-up - he was still super confident up there though.
The Tough Mudder sounds a lot like Tough Guy over here: http://www.toughguy.co.uk/
(And no, I’m not taking part! At least not this year, anyway).
Cal - yeah that does look pretty similar. Once I started looking I actually found a few different events like that in North America - some more challenging (Spartan Run, Tough Mudder) than others (Warrior Dash, Muddy Buddy).

if the hubbie wants a piece of Frenchie after heavy deads I make sure he understands he will have to do most of the work. Just to be fair ya know ![]()
My sisters did a tough mudder. One of them really enjoyed it…the other almost didn’t make it through. Try to pick one in the summer. They got soaking wet early in the race on a pretty cold day. Made it that much harder.
YOur drawings are really neat. You have so many interests! It’s very cool. And oh good training. That set of 25 pushups is very impressive to me. I need to train those too.
Nadia - Thanks for the heads up. I’ll try and find a summer one when the time comes!
Training tonight got bumped to tomorrow due to fun with hair night.
i like the color a lot, awesome drawing, too.
Ab roller (knees) / HSPU
10 / 3 x 3
What is HSPU?
You can be my ab rolling hero 'cause I’m just starting to learn to do these ![]()
Sexay!!! I love the color, and your haircut is so hot.
A lot of women I know are scared of short hair. But I think it’s beautiful. Doesn’t look as good on me though
You sly girl, you ;D
N - Good advice - I’ll keep that in mind!
Alexus - HSPU are handstand push-ups. Go into a handstand using the wall for support, lower yourself down then push back up. I love the ab roller, though I found it really challenging to start. You have to be super tight! One day I want to be able to do it from my feet.
Nikki - Thanks, I love the short hair and would have a hard time going back. I get why some women are afraid - I don’t think it is considered traditionally beautiful. Though there are some smokin’ hot ladies out there that can rock the short hair. Halle Berry anyone?
I have had the odd retarded comment from random douchebags on the dogeball court, but that is their insecurity not mine.
No conditioning today due to me having to shovel the foot of snow that fell last night. Took me about an hour to shovel. That picture was taken from my bedroom window.
I was pretty fatigued and under-fueled by the time I made it to the basement

I helped push a few cars out yesterday too. Our street is horrible right now. My bf was going out and got stuck so couple of neighbors and I pushed him out. Then two more vehicles got stuck while he was leaving. I pushed a few out leaving today too. I had to go another way too because there was a stuck school bus blocking my way. I’m not quite strong enough to push that out, haha!

Halle Berry, Sharon Stone, YOU! ;D
Geez, gangsta farmer’s walks. I guess I have another person to chase on here. Damn, I need to make a list.

Floor press is amazing, but there’s no way in hell I can catch up to that.
You’re such a good samaritan!
And got some wicked cardio in.
Nikki - thanks - though if you keep going my head might pop! j/k
About the floor press though - I’ve seen your bench numbers. You’re repping good numbers, an 85lb BB floor press should be no problem when you’re decline bench pressing over 100 lbs for like 9 reps or whatever it was. If I was floor pressing 85 lb DBs, that might be amazing!
In other news - Holy DOMS Batman! I’ve got my typical right side dodgeball DOMS. My bf keeps poking me in the back for his amusement.
I was planning on deadlifting tonight, but I would have to wimp out and use straps because my right hand grip is completely shot today. So I’ll save DL for Friday and bench tonight before running off to more dodgeball madness!
