Derailed - Setting a New Course!

Have a wonderful night! Congrats on 10 yrs!!

Oh and nice chins

The bench is looking good! 10 years is even better. Congrats.

Thanks everyone!
Nikki - lol at the cardio!

Fine, you all twisted my arm  I’ll post my favourite picture in the next couple of days. My bf really enjoyed the pictures. He thought that it’s kinda sad that other people won’t get to see them, but I told him that I’d probably share one or two of them here.

We did have an awesome night. We had a $100 gift certificate to use, so we went all out at dinner. The steak was fabulous - mmmm filet mignon.

He ended up getting me a pretty diamond bracelet and an ice cream maker for us. So we made some Oreo cookie ice cream for a little treat - more noms!

Aww your bf is so sweet! That ice cream maker idea alone is awesome; I like activities like that with significant others.

Sounds like you had a great night last night. Steak, bracelets, Oreo ice cream, cardio… my kinda night.

ice creamn is great forplay.

sounds like you had a great time

As promised, this was my favourite picture of the bunch - cropped a little though.
…I can’t believe I just posted that  lol

Wednesday training:

I’ve decided that deadlifts are my nemesis

RDL
10@90 x 5

35lb plate push
3 (across basement and back) x 4 sets w\ 30s rest between sets

All done in the span of 40 min as I was out the door by 6 to watch my team win their championship.
I had a good set of jello legs when I was done.

Double post - Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in the US!

That is a right beautiful picture there LS! Looking strong and feminine
Plus a deads PR and a championship ! grumble and who said you can’t have it all?

p.s if you want a little more adoration post in the Vixen thread.

Gawgeous gawgeous!

And those are some fine DLs. Holy crap.

Thanks N & Nikki!

I don’t know if I am looking for more adoration really - right now anyway. I think I’m happy sharing with those following along here for mow.

So there is a big dodgeball tourney this weekend, but I am not playing. However, I did get an offer to film a promo video for the Sport and Social Club that runs the leagues. I usually just do the video thing for fun, but it will be cool to make a bit of cash especailly seeing as I was planning on being there for the whole day anyway. Might as well be productive while I’m there. I just need to figure out how much to charge.

Friday’s training:
5 min bike
blast strap circuit
Broomstick dislocations

OHP
Warm-ups
5@35, 5@45, 3@50
Working Sets
5@55
5@65
7@75

DB OHP
10@20s x 5

Ab wheel
3 x 10

Handstand Push-up (~ half ROM)
4

Squats
8@75 x 3 - no knee pain.
Once I get back up to 100lbs with no knee pain, I’m going to start training squats regularly.

Beautiful picture. Strong OHPs. And yeah for no knee pain when squatting.

Hotness

I’m rooting for you on the squats with no knee pain. You’ll be there soon enough.

pch2 - Thanks!

Nadia & Nikki - Thanks, the knee pain has been getting much better (damn you PFPS!) since I cut back on karate a bit. I found that I was pain free until the day after karate. So I’ve just been teaching the kids lately. It is amazing what a little rest does!

The weekend was stupid busy, and I barely spent any time at home. We were at the dodgeball tourney from 7am until 11pm (after party) on Saturday and we were at a Grey Cup/Hot tub party yesterday afternoon/evening. Needless to say, I’m a little wiped out this Monday…

But I did manage to squeeze a little workout in on Sunday before the game.

Not my most stellar chin-up workout, but it was better than nothing

Warm-up
Footwork drills (Figure 8s, speed ladder)
Blast strap circuit x1

Chin-ups
BW 6
5lbs 4
10lbs 3
15lbs 2
20lbs 2
25lbs 1
20lbs 1.5
15lbs 2
10lbs 3
5lbs 3
BW 4

Plate push
4x35lbs x 3 w\ 30s rest.
My basement floor provides a lot of friction - had me on my knees by the end. Good stuff.

Now to play catch-up

BEAUTIFUL!! Like Mainy said, strong and feminine. Super sexy.

I’m glad you and the boy had a nice evening out. Sounds like a perfect evening!

Grey cup/Hot tub party?! Oh dear…

Awesome training woman - Dls for 10 are tough! And nevermind the OHP, 75 is no joke. I envy those chins! We just got a new dip belt, I should try some weighted chins just for giggles…

The knee will get there, rest is key!

Ah man, it’s best you just teach so the knee pain can subside a bit.

And I don’t know what your most stellar workout is, but that looks pretty darn stellar to me.

Those pushes have me on the floor too, it’s fun in a masochistic way.

Yeah, oh dear is right! Especially on a Sunday. I was certainly a bit draggy Monday morning.

Do it! Weighted chins are where it’s at - love 'em!

I guess by not stellar I meant that my numbers didn’t quite compare with my previous numbers and I had to shorten things up a bit to fit my time frame.

Now last night was great. I was so pumped after!

Monday Training:
Footwork drills
Broomstick dislocations
Blast strap circuit x 1

Bench press
Warm-ups
5@50, 5@60, 3@75
Working sets
3@85
3@100
5@110 (didn’t go for a rep PR on this lift this time)
1@120
1@120
1@130 PR! It went up nice and smooth too. Next week I’m shooting for my goal of 140.

DB Floor press
10@35s x 5

DB Rows
10@35 x 5 (per arm)

Rolled and stretched for cool down.

Your killing the bench! Great job on the PR.
