Dude, it’s true that extra muscle gets you extra attention, but he was just shy. He didn’t drink because of his father, and worked out at home, so he may not have been out much. He got around on a bike, for Christ’s sake. Also, I think the short was really good. I was captivated the whole time, and it was all dialog, so that’s impressive. The actor did a great job. I believed him the whole time. Actors need to be able to sympathize with their characters, so maybe he was shy as a kid/teenager, and didn’t open up until he started working out or something.
