One of the best songs for death/doom. The song shifts between fast and slow beats.
These guys only did one album and they are considered one of the cult bands out there.

Holy shit! I didn’t think anyone else caught this band when they put out their album. Yep, only one album, and definitely one of the best ever. The whole thing steamrolls you from beginning to end. It was ahead of it’s time and very unfortunate that they didn’t continue on after its release. But then again, I often wondered if they felt it was the best they could do and decided to quite on such a positive note…rather than releasing sub-par albums afterward.

Great list, but you have to admit that the thrash scene in the US went downhill during the 90s, and many 80s classic band lost a lot in quality during those years.

In the U.S. yes…

Metal in general has been SO ALIVE all over the world. I was surprised at how many REAL thrash metal bands are alive and kicking in Japan…

U.S. has been a shitty place for metal for the past 10 years now, and I think that speaks volumes for U.S. metal bands that starting out.

Now you have to be a lame ass ‘death core’ band like Job for a Fag-boy or Slip-sucks-on-nuts-Knot in order to be recognized as a legit “metal act”.

It’s fucking bullshit. All the good metal is coming out of Northern and Eastern Europe. America needs to man the fuck up and start producing good metal acts, and not that gay Hot Topic ‘mall metal’ bullshit. I fucking HATE THAT SHIT![/quote]

Nice speech.

The worst is getting told by people that listen to soulja boy, slipknot AND lady gaga that the music I listen to sucks.

Fucking mainstream crap…

edit: whoops, skaz beat me to the gama bomb on the previous page. good stuff, anyway.

gama bomb - return of the technodrome

over the weekend i bought the new 'thrakh album, constellation of the black widow. fucking owns.

this song makes me quiver with pleasure… so much emotion.

anaal nathrakh - more of fire than blood

From the new album by Behemoth, pretty much my favourite song off the album.

Any suggestions on grind core bands? I’ve been listening to Pig Destroyer, Agorphobic Nosebleed and Napal Death for years now and would like somthin new(ish)

I have read so many negative reviews of the new Behemoth. I put off listening to it, but tonight I probably will. That track sounds pretty solid, not sure where all the hate is coming from.

Man must die’s new album is fucking killer!!!

maybe because it’s over-produced?

Esoteric. This band is for the open minded as not all poeple could stand listening to them. They combine ultra hateful screams with grunting and thier music can only be described as one word “MISANTHROPIC”.
