Death Metal

What’s wrong with gutturals? I like Majewski does them exceptionally well since he exhales those vocals making it more impressive.[/quote]

Nothing wrong with it at all, I just didn’t think you were a big fan of that style.

HOW ARE THERE NO GLASS CASKET FANS ON HERE?!

if you don’t know who they are you are truly missing out. They don’t have much on youtube i recommend their myspace and torrents.

I just saw the GTFO responses on my past posts - I didn’t know that death metal with melody was prohbited. Sorry guys.
Textures is definitely worth listening to.

It’s because JFaC is deathcore. Terrible deathcore at that.

But I agree with Textures. Drawing circles is a great album. …The vocals get on my nerves though.

Wow, you just post terrible bands.

This is Death Metal, not Deathcore. Learn the difference.

I will say, though, I’ve heard a random song by Glass Casket that has a SICK fucking solo.

“Less Than Human,” if you can find it.

Other than that, yeah. Not great.

Double down with some Carcass:

Reek of Putrefaction

Heartwork

I’ll admit it, I like Glass Casket…I also like Bright Eyes though…and I’m not posting about either in this thread.

I’m digging this band called Atrocious Abnormality. This was the only clear song I could find, but it’s definitely not their best. I’m sure they have more shit on myspace.

Pretty cool. The sweep picking reminds me of Dying Fetus. You and dez always post good stuff.

I have to redeem myself; I guess I’ve been making pretty shitty suggestions. Check out PORPHYRIA - Featured Content on Myspace

The Red Chord?
Into the Moat?

Yeah, most if it’s quite solid really. The first song, Dead in 60 Seconds, is pretty fucking cool for an intro.

And… am I the only asshole on here who didn’t even know Cephalic Carnage’s Conforming to Abnormality even existed? Just saw it today at Best Buy before a store meeting and picked it up. Pretty good, but even stranger than normal.

Porphyria is still around? I remember my band played with them once, they were ok.

I’m a bit biased about The Red Chord because the singer goes to gym since he’s friends with a couple of the strongman and boxers that train there. He’s a pretty cool guy.

You still need to learn the difference between Deathcore and Death Metal.

Oh, you mean death metal like Radiohead n’ stuff?

ooo i like the drumming style. and the bullfrog vocals crack me up in a sinister kind of way.

how do you describe that style of drumming? tight and rolling? good shit anyway.

anyone mention kataklysm yet?

off of shadows and dust (my favorite from them now):

illuminati

shadows and fucking dust

from poetry of war:
era of the mercyless

as the glorious weep (a little more melodic, relatively speaking)

skinless, from traple the weak hurdle the dead:

deviation will not be tolerated

trample the weak hurdle the dead

were not just going to shoot the bastards, we’re gonna cut out their living guts, and use them to grease the treads of our tanks! we’re gonna murder the bastards by the bushel!

the optimist (foreshadowing our demise)

life sucks! and then, you dieeee… lol

fuck yeah skinless. their stuff has good grooves too.
