Death Metal v2

My vids from last night:

Fuck yeah, what an awesome show. My neck is sore as shit - feels good man.

FUCK. I didn’t get to go… I’m too broke! So disappointing. Plus the buddies I was riding up with missed a lot of Devourment’s set, which was honestly my main motivation to get there.

Great videos though!

Dude, that sucks. You’ve already seen these bands except for Devourment though, right? Kick ass night, I really couldn’t afford it either but I’ve never seen any of these bands and to see them all for only 20 bucks was sort of a no-brainer for me.

My 3 currently listening bands. I find that hiliarious

Awesome vids skazzzz.

ANd Here I am with my thrash again… I think Coma of Souls is their best album.

I posted this song a few pages back… Well now the screamer for the band has left. Think it was creative differences and conflicts in the band. Anyways the guys in the band are holding auditions and I got invited to try out for the band.
Really stoked on the opportunity, since leaving my last band last year I havent been able to scream as much as I use too, got like 2 weeks to prep my voice to its max for the audition.

What I wanted to ask, if any of you guys scream or are part of a band what does your vocalist or youself do as warm up exercises, any special techniques to lessen the wear and tear on the throat and so forth…

I got the same tone and sound as the past screamer, this is the song I will be auditioning too:

Hilarious because they’re pretty experimental? I like all of those! Cynic’s synth vocals are wild but it definitely works with the song.

because the band names all that’s missing is me listening to a band called Theist and it’d be a collector set.

Nice pick Det! Kreator made all those shitty albums and then came back with Violent Revolution. Badass.

So I was just listening to this song and I had to post it. I’m loving this new wave of thrash… Municipal Waste, Hexen, Gama Bomb, Toxic Holocaust, Mantic Ritual, Evil, Warbringer, Cross Examination, Merciless Death, Lich King, Bonded by Blood, National Suicide, etc etc.

Mantic Ritual - Double the Blood

I like this.

It almost sounds retro vocally, composition, and production.

Thought you guys would like that! Check out those other bands I mentioned, I’m a big fan of Hexen right now.

Hexen - State of Insurgency

Some melodic/folk black metal

Primordial - Fallen To Ruin

I saw Municipal Waste live, they kicked extreme ass.

and then there’s Merciless Death. Horrible, horrible vocals but incredibly awesome music.

Actually Merciless Death’s vocals got much better.

Warbringer - Total War (Live)

These guys sound so much like Suicidal, but I like it anyway:

New Sodom

New Acid Witch

New Athiest

I heard this the other day whilst searching for Doom metal, really neat-o

Toxic Holocaust - Nuke the Cross (there’s an ad, GAY)
