Ya know,I always thought that “Death by Firing squad” was considered a honorable way to die and only reserved for high ranking officers in the military? What happened?
Anyone wonder why they sterilize the arm when they insert the IV to administer the lethal drugs when they do lethal injection ? Are they afraid of an infection ?

In case of a last minute reversal. Plus it is general procedure when sticking someone with a needle.
I think there needs to be a cap on how long someone stays on Death Row, here in California, there is a better chance of winning the lottery than having a Death Row inmate executed.
Just a question, where is the proof that the death penalty is a deterrent, let alone a good one? Why not bring the chain gang back and at the very worst people just sweat for a few years?
Death penalty debate notwithstanding, if I were condemned to die, I’d rather have several rifle rounds go through my cortex at supersonic speed than have some government employee try to find a vein and then feel myself doze off to meet my maker.

I think yall are crazy, I’d go for the getting put to sleep over getting shot to death. A needle prick ain’t that bad.
