I’m no expert, but looks like you should sit back a little more. Looks like you have weight on your toes and maybe it’s pulling you forward. Try a set where you take your big toes off the ground and see how it feels.
Another cue w/re2 “sitting back.” Just saw an interesting pointer on Insta about keeping your shoulders at 12 o’clock vis-a-vis the plates. Many people set up closer to 1 o’clock or even 2 o’clock… I think the OP shifts between 12 and 1 in his set-up, which may be a limiting factor. I know I’m working on this.
Thanks guys. I saw that suggestion re 12 too. I was aiming for that in the video but doesn’t look like I managed it. What do you think of the lockout?
I could probably do another 80 kg fully rested with practice of 1 rep maxes. Presumably my form would break down more.
I will try and do a set of 5 with 180kg next time. I think 192.5 or 192.5 would be pretty bad lol.
I thought you moved into and out of 12 o’clock. I almost wasn’t going to mention it because it looked like you adjusted/sat back a bit right before you were about to lift. But then I think you might have leaned forward again just as you began the concentric.
