Unfortunately getswole, it does have a lot to do with Bush. And I don’t want to bash anybodies political beliefs either, but when the US President comes out and declares steroids to be a menace, which Bush did, he gives the green light for these agencies to spend their money doing this kind of shit. Bush also did the same thing with internet bong sales early on in his presidency.
The fact is that when we get a liberal in office next year the climate towards steroids (and bongs) is going to change. It simply won’t be a priority any more. And that will be a nice change.[/quote]
Are you kidding me? Did you notice it was the liberals in Congress going after Clemens. It is the liberals (for the most part) who think they know whats best for us.
Bush was just bowing to political pressure because of all the talk of high school kids using steroids. If you think that the liberals would make steroids legal or stop going after people you are being a little naive.
The liberal media are the ones driving most of the steroid hysteria.

I would have to ask, are you kidding me? The steroid issue in congress is one of the few truly bi-partisan issues in our country. Liberal media/conservative media…it’s all basically the same thing.
To be honest, I think all of this is begining to lend credibility to Roberts’ conspiracy theory regarding the future of HRT/TRT in the US. If the FDA is going to loosen the reigns on medically controlled HRT/TRT then the potential for drug companies to make a bunch more money will increase. By nearly obliterating the underground and blackmarket suppliers they not only get rid of cheaper competition, they also scare the “average law-abiding” steroid user into only using the legal route and thus making more money for the pharmaceutical companies.
So while the “government” is still to blame, remember that our government is representative of “the people” which translates to…whoever puts enough money in the hands of the right congressmen gets what they want.
