Did a lot of arm stuff. Just back to back tris/bis/foramrs. Really good pump.
Also still using Surge.
I’m sorry you reached a point where you needed this healing, but I am happy for you that you are getting it my dude. It was life changing for me. Hope you see the results you’re after.
I appreciate that. I’ve been feeling pretty bad from an emotional and physical exhaustion standpoint, but it wasn’t until my wife questioned me that I decided to actually pursue. I feel it’s almost become taboo as people look for competitive advantage or ‘legal’ steroid. However, there are a lot of symptoms I’ve ignored and pinned simple solutions to explain (occams razor). Also, so easy to say progress isn’t occurring because of T, but my Free T was less than 10 on a 10-30 range. At 33, I really didn’t want to commit to pinning indefinitely, but the alternative is now far worse than treatment.
I’m looking forward to being 5 weeks in when things stabilize to see the real affect.

Then went to Costco with wife and newborn. Baby wanted to be held the whole time, so walked around holding her for 1.5 hours. Arms were basically a 90degree angle that whole time. I don’t think I’ll do curls for a few days. haha
Today was 2nd dose of T. Didn’t feel much last week. Improved mood and had desire to workout. I’ve read week 2-3 is when you start to notice and by week 5 you’re feeling the full effects.
At week six you will have full T levels you will attain. Due to the half life, you won’t max your levels until week five or six,
However, you will not get full benefits until 6-12 months. It’s a good news bad news thing.
Quick update: Overall mood is way better. I didn’t need an energy drink yesterday or today. Normally I have one in the morning, coffee around 11 and another around 3. I need none. Also, my weight is up to 225 out of nowhere. Guessing it’s due to water retention?
11/1 - Biceps were fried so just did so many sets of triceps. They are incredibly sore today
11/2 - Shoulders! Supersets of AMRAP 15lb lateral raises and cable overhead press with fat grips. Started with 30 or so lateral raises and ended workout when I couldn’t do any. Not sure how many sets, but took about 22 minutes.
Yep. And it will settle down.
In a few weeks you will notice your recovery is much better.
Haven’t done a ‘real’ lift the last few days. Half my family has been sick, so taking care of them and not sleeping much. I have been doing leg ext and goblet squats throughout day, just to grease the groove for my knee. Believe the tear has healed, now just dealing with a loose ligament.
Third injection today… this one hurt after. Overall, despite not sleeping much, I feel great from an energy perspective.
What’s wild is, what you’re feeling is simply the way you were SUPPOSED to feel this whole time. Low test is a slow poison: you slowly kills you to the point that you don’t notice it while it’s happening. Meanwhile, the treatment reverses the effects so rapidly it feels like becoming a superhero. You’re simply healthy again, but now you get to really appreciate how that feels. It’s something you won’t take for granted again.
On the scale weight; I had the same experience. I ballooned up to 200+lbs from about 190, and then my weight free fell down to 166 with a MUCH better physique.
I was talking to my wife about this over the weekend. I’ve justified the way I feel as a result of external factors - stress, travel, long hours, lack of sleep, bad diet, not training consistently, etc.
If it wasn’t for ZERO sexual desire and the fact I trained my ass off this year and ate consistently well, with not a ton of physical progress/strength, I’d probably still be spinning wheels.
I just cancelled my energy drink subscription from Amazon. Aside from a coffee for enjoyment, I don’t need caffeine. Hard to believe I haven’t hit peak levels yet…
Dude, I went from 2 energy drinks a day and 10 cups of coffee to none of that practically overnight: it’s just nuts, haha. And yeah, it was way too easy to let external stuff mask things. COVID was a perfect shield for it: the whole WORLD is stressed out and sick right now, how are we different? And then we see the world healing while we don’t and we start to wonder.
I was training SOOOOO stupidly hard at my lowest, and I was forcing myself to get results that way. Once I got healthy, it was crazy to me just how much I didn’t need to train to get MUCH better results…and, in turn, how much better it was for me NOT to train like that. It’s self-perpetuating: the more you heal, the more you heal from the healing.
Consider subq injections. Some don’t recommend but there are peer reviewed articles on it that lay out the benefits
Also, I would avoid an AI if you can. I’ve been on TRT for quite a few years, did a deep dive initially and have found that simple is best. I won’t bore you with the research but am happy to help if needed
I have to go in for first 6, before I can do it myself at home. I’ve actually taken the .25mg they give me and putting them in ziploc bag. I’m on 140mg off Test C and read and heard from a friend not to use unless needed.
I would agree with that advice.
My doc let me shoot, but made my brother in law come in every week.
Blood tests at six weeks will give you a good indication of where you are.
I got deep into it. It was needless. I self administer now with UGL - 150mg once a week subq. Nothing else. I found an AI and Hcg unnecessary. Hcg for me was unnecessary because I had my kids and wasn’t concerned about fertility or atrophy and it just complicates things.
Reap the benefits!
I’ve seen your videos, it forced me to realize I don’t train, I just do movements. Haha. How long have you been on treatment, can’t be that long?

Good increase in top sets of both. I’m keeping gas in tank to ease back in. Happy to see passing strength up tho. Weight has dropped to 218 this morning.
Pretty stoked to start BJJ back up tomorrow. Knee is feeling pretty good.

Dinner - burger, salmon/ meat and rice
Trying to keep calories around 2800-3000
Thanks for that man! I’m still in the shadow of @Alpha and Derek Poundstone and the like. To say nothing of The Juggernaut, haha. And I just hit a full year of treatment. It’s been an outstanding year.
