Quick update:
Still traveling. Still plowing ahead. Trying not to have to lay people off.
Sunday Workout
Morning: 15 minutes in stair climber.
Afternoon: 5 sets | 20 pushups, 10 ab rollouts
Evening: 500kb swing protocol without final 50 swings at end of each set. Instead 10 front squats with 135lbs. Ex:
KB Swings - 80lber
10, 15, 25
Front squats - 135
10
KB Swings
10, 15, 25
Etc.
Had a bit more energy so jumped on stairclimber for 30 minutes.

At about 8pm got into a spat with the boss. Got pissed at the result and went for a 5 mile jog/slow walk/sprint in the rain. Felt really good to be cold, wet and tired. Grounded me to being homeless again.
‘…Is this the condition that I feared?’

Tired of 500 KB swings, so switched it up to 500 KB squats. Started with two 60lbers, then an 80 and finally one 60lber. Quads are on fire.

I’m working towards doing Murph this year. I’ve been saying next year for a long time. I finally decided to commit to prepping this year. Hoping I can do it with a 40lb weight vest, except for pull-ups. I suck at pull-ups. 35 was killer.

Morning | 20 Minutes on Stair climber
While on the stair climber, I had the brilliant idea of trying Zerchers.
Zercher Squat
20x95lbs - way too easy
25x95lbs - ok, wasn’t a fluke
20x115lbs
Ok, I’ll do more Zerchers tonight. I was short on time or would have done more. Might try and do sets of 10 with a mile jog on each side.

Night | got home from work and did yard work. Mowed, pulled weeds torn out bad spots of grass and reseeded.
3/4 mile jog
Zerchers
3x25x115
I was waaaay too tired to put more weight on. I need my weight to drop too. After hitting a new low, my weight shot up 10-14lbs. I’m now waking up 8lbs heavier than my low over a week ago. Pissing me the fuck off.
4/30
Morning | 20 minutes of stairclimber, 30 pullups
Night | Bands Arrived!
Banded Flies and Presses
lots x lots x 60lbs tension

Decided to sleep in today. Hoping a day off and a lighter day of eating will help move the scale. My training ramped up quite a bit 2 weeks ago. I’ll hit it hard again tomorrow.
I’ll also be building a play structure all weekend. Crossing my fingers I can get it all done in one weekend. It’s a massive structure for a backyard.
Share pictures when you’re done! Been thinking of doing something at my house.

Way more brutal than it looks on paper.
Ya, this sucks. But a year ago one minute sucked.
Spent rest of day finishing this.
They say it takes 2-3 people 24 hours. I did it, solo, in 31. Definitely some sketchy moments, like lifting up the turret by myself, realizing it takes six more steps to secure it and hopping on an 8’ ladder to move it far enough away that I can jump off while holding turret and prop the ladder. Then, run up to the top and hold it while reaching for a drill, screw and boards to tie it down.
Ya, 2-3 people is definitely required.

Wife: girls want kisses before bed.
Me: ok, just have to finish my last mile.
Wife: they’ve already been waiting
Me: kisses them goodnight
Time: 41:21
Starts to jog last mile and legs are sooooo heavy and back is cramping. Finish half
Mile 46:32. Takes breath. Runs quarter mile, 49:58. Feel like barfing. Walk remaining quarter mile. End at 54:58.
Well, broke the one hour I was shooting for. I definitely would have traded 300 more pushups for 50 less pull-ups. Fuck me. I can do pushups all day. I’m honestly glad I could maintain sets of five.
