Hahaha! I haven’t listened to Coldplay in 7 years and didn’t know a lot of the songs. I got floor tickets ($980 for the pair) for less than $50. I’d never listen to their music, but they put on a good show. Especially when you’ve got a good buzz throughout.

A bit of a physique update/I got a massage and had some cupping done. My back was waaay to knotted up from Baseball this year. Mind of hurt a bit on descent of OHP. Just for kicks and giggles I OHP’d 135x5 without warmup. Now, the question is… do I skip chest day tomorrow to OHP? Ha

Sunday - took it fairly easy. Did some yard work, grocery shopping, etc.

Monday - Backs feeling good and ready to go.

Jog - not sure how far, but my farthest since college. Went the whole way without stopping, and even sprinted the last bit. By no means is this some crazy feat of endurance, but I’ve spent my whole life with exercise induced asthma where a sprint would leave me gasping for breath. The very fact I can jog a mile without stopping is crazy to me. Anyways, I jogged for a good 18 minutes straight. So… maybe 2 miles or so. It’s hard to tell. I live in a newly developed neighborhood that doesn’t show up on google maps, so I can’t calculate it with any certainty.

Been a crazy week. I was sore and took Monday off. Tuesday I hit some morning squats. I think I did 3x5x225 before I had to get ready for work. Wednesday I hit squats again, working up to a set of 3 with 275, before I left for work. Thursday was KB Swings. Friday was off, I believe.

Yesterday - first day since May where I didn’t have to do anything or be anywhere. My wife went to the city to hangout with friends all day. So I binge watched House of Cards and watched the baseball game.

I did get a quick workout in.

DLs were easy. Back was a bit iffy yesterday, so just went really slow and paused before each rep and re-set myself. I could of gotten 275 for 10. I need a good amount of time and warmup to go for an all out day.

Whole workout was 20 minutes.

A month ago, I could do one set but I’d want to die afterwards. Now, I hit muscle fatigue before I anything else.

Tomorrow, I’m going to try starting with an 80lber, then 40, then 20. See if I can hit 100 reps.

Well, damn, was going to make steak and eggs this morning for breakfast. I cracked the first egg and blood. Fuck that shit, I’m not a chicken vampire. Just steak for breakfast now.

Notes: Deadlifts felt easy. First one I didn’t get low enough and used too much back. Corrected on the next two sets. Weight goes up fast, but the eccentric portion makes me nervous. My back just feels less stable. I should probably maintain my breath on the descent and take a deep breath between reps.

I kinda of liked today’s set up. Morning heavy legs or deadlifts with OHP or Bench in the evening. Off days could be cleans, swings or a jog. We’ll see if I can keep it up. I’ll be traveling more as a project ramps up a few hours from home.
