Dbol only cycle, any experience?

So i’m 32 male, had gyno surgery four months ago, chest doesn’t look that great because doc wasn’t that good with the lipo, so i’m looking forward to gain some serious mass to try and fix it

As a first cycle, I have two options, dbol only or test only, but i’d prefer the first over the second, because the second would take weeks to clear out of my system if something goes wrong, so my question is, did anyone try dbol only, what dosages, pct, and what were the results, i don’t wanna hear opinions from people that haven’t done it themselves, cheers

I did many cycles of Dianabol only in the 1970’s.

When my doctor prescribed it, I took a 5mg tablet in the AM and a 5mg tablet in the PM for 8 weeks. Then took 8 weeks off and repeat.

I worked up to 15mg/day for 8 week cycles, until 1977 when I stacked 100mg/week Deca with 20mg/day Anavar.

In 1978 I started stacking various different AAS onto 200mg/week testosterone.

Back to my Dianabol only results: My gains were rather small, but consist. I was always bigger and stronger at the start of each cycle. I competed in bodybuilding from the start of using Dianabol. I wasn’t very good, but consistently got better year after year.

I really don’t like this. The fact that you got gyno without taking any AAS, is a concern that your body will easily aromatize any AAS that you take.

I worry that you are a very poor candidate to find positive benefits of using AAS.

Exactly.

Quit being modest. You rocked.

I was referring to the period of time when I took Dianabol only.

But, thanks for the compliment.

Back then was it common for bodybuilders to take testosterone?

I know now there’s the whole “you NEED a test base” rhetoric

Whenever AAS are used medicinally (rare nowadays but not entirely unheard of) for say…. Cancer related cachexia etc

Those doctors aren’t freaking “fuck, we need to give this guy a test base stat!”

I never heard about testosterone until 1978. We heard that Casey Viator took a “blue” and a “pink” and a “white” pill twice a day. The most that I ever heard was a national competitor who took 80mg/day of Dianabol. But I never heard of anyone taking testosterone. For whatever reason we took “anabolic” steroids because we were focusing solely on increasing muscle size and strength. We were not interested in any androgenic effects. In retrospect, this was laughable.

The addition of just 200mg/wk of testosterone cypionate in addition to the “anabolic” steroids I took made a definite step increase in size and strength.

I had it from puberty, it wasn’t that serious, about 2-2.5 cm, you think it’s going to be a serious problem or is it manageable ?

I just don’t know.

One thought: is did the surgeon get all of the gland in your nipples? If not, your gyno could return.

Another thought: do you respond well to resistance training? In other words, are you rather muscular and strong from the weight training you are currently doing?

You might consider starting a thread specific to you getting gyno during puberty and the concerns of now using AAS.

They will both do the same job, but one is waaaaay “healthier” than the other one. If you don’t care about that and convenience is all that matters, then take your pick.

Well, the gland is removed, no chance for it to grow back
I do respond decent to resistance training, i have always gained strength from week to week, even on the cut, except for the maintenance phase

What do i need for dbol pct ? and what checks i should do regularly ?

If the surgeon got all of the gland, yes. I knew someone that the surgeon failed to remove it all. His grew back.

I am not the best person to ask. PCT has come a long way since I ran AAS.

As to regular “checks,” I did none. I started taking Dbol in 1971 and took my last AAS in 1997. I never had my blood tested any of that period. It just wasn’t something that anyone I knew did. Much has changed over the years.
