Day 1 - legs

this is my first training log. im going to try post everyday, if not i’ll fill in the blanks when i can.

machine crunch 99kg x10

leg press 60kg x10

machine adductor 50kg x10

bulgarians bw x10

machine crunch 112kg 3x10 paused

leg press 105kg 3x8 (240kg total)

machine adductor 63kg 2x9

bulgarians 16kg 2x9 (single leg)

leg extension 112kg 2x12 w/partials

leg curl 63kg 2x6

(everything is paused*)

pretty happy with this lift, im gradually progressing with each movement well. ive eaten relatively well today, 200g oats w 300ml milk, slice of toast w out butter, redbull and 2 rice cakes pre workout, 250g mince with 100g rice and 100g broccoli. i need to buy more meats, running low at the minute. i’ll try answering any questions yous have

im working on it, my lower back was giving me issues with top loaded and hinging movements, went to a chiro and he said my abdominal wall was too weak in comparision to my back so it was taking over in certain movements. i’ll be back to squatting in a few weeks though.

Great to hear! Are you doing anything to strengthen the abdominal wall?

I’d consider a box squat when breaking back into squats. Would be helpeful for re-learning the form.

so far the machine crunchs have been helpful, albeit light. ive been working on bracing as well. my form is pretty good, id prefer to go light and deep than heavy and shallow. it wont be much in the first few weeks bit id like to get to 120kg by this time next year
