David Boston

Gotta have been on the juice. Sorry, I dont buy it for one second.

The Poliquin diet consists of extremely low carb/high protein/high fat.

I followed his guidelines for 8 months straight. On my bulking phase I ate my protein/nuts/salmon/olive & flax oil like a nut, and the weight came on very slowly. After I’d gained 5 lbs (after quite a while) I checked my bodyfat levels. Lo and behold, half of those 5 lbs were fat. The other half was muscle. Now, those are not the results Poliquin claims his diet will give you. He says you will gain very little fat and more muscle. I experiences more fat gain and less muscle gain.

Bottom line: Poliquin doesnt tell you about his ‘secret’ recipe.

Amazing…

But I think’s he’s on some good ass shit…Poliquin too. His arms are ridiculous.

maybe he read “winning the arms race.”

He’s a professional football player for crying out loud. Don’t kid yourselves and fall for the media bullshit. 90+%of pro players are on anabolics, and so they should be.

Ronnie Coleman called. He wants his arms back.

A few things Diesel:

  1. Poliquin doesn’t use that diet for everyone
  2. His athletes are genetically superior to you
  3. His athletes have WAAAAAAYYYYY better coaching.
  4. He has so many tests for various thnigs, it would boggle your mind. Everything he does is exact.
  5. All supplement regimines and doses are ultra-exact.

I have no idea if Boston is clean, but I know that his athletes that train here with us are. He was here this morning training a hockey player, and his knowledge and attention to detail would blow you away. So, if you failed on your diet, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work, it just means it either wasn’t right for you or you just didn’t do it right.

Actually, it’s not his arm that’s big, he just has a really small head!

Now that he has all that size I’m curious as to how flexible he will be to catch a pass. I’m stoked about his appearance though, it shows that he’s come to San Diego to play and not fuck around. Ladanien Tomlinson got big for last season as well and it definitely proved positive. Props to Boston for showing up ready.

This picture is so insane, I just had to bump.

I think he’s already won the arms race.

Just an FYI -
Boston has always been huge, even back at OSU. He is a genetic supreme being. People are just now noticing because he is no longer with the god forsaken cardinals. The most amazing thing is that he ran a 4.17 40 for the San Diego scouts before signing with them while still rehabbing a season ending knee surgery. A man amongst boys.

Yes, he has always been large. But not this large!

I believe Poliquin put, what… 30+lbs on him?

He was 205 - 210 when he was drafted in '99, now he is 230-240 depending on the source. So 20 - 30 lbs over the course of 4 years is completely obtainable, especially with his obvious genetics and the fact that he basically gets paid to train (i.e. doesn’t have the pleasure of spending 8 - 10 hrs a day in a cubicle). But he is a big dude notwithstanding and, along with Eddie George, the most impressive physique in the NFL.

I think he should consider deadlifts to pack on a little more mass.

Poliquin uses a very high carb approach with Boston i believe. Reguardless hes obviously a freak.

Boston played around 200 lbs. in college. If you look at the differences on film between his college career and now they are very noticeable. He is 240 range now.

No one runs a 4.1 anything 40. If you hear that, it’s just hype.

While I’m a bit biased to LaVar, I put Boston in the same category. While most NFL players have supreme genetics. LaVar, Boston, Kearse… these guys are in a league of their own when it comes down to it.

Speaking of Jerome Kearse, I’m sure most of you know this but but I love bringing it up cause it always freaks me out. This guy’s hands are so big, he can hold a twelve inch ruler between his thumb and pinky. That’s insane!

Just for reference, it’s Jevon Kearse. Also, RenegadeDragon is right there is no way Boston runs a 4.1 anything in the 40, he is undoubtedly NOT the fastest player in the NFL and a 4.1 is what world class track runners (such as M. Greene and T. Montgomerey) run in the first 40 yards of their race. Another thing is while it might be true 90 % of pro athletes take anabolics it’s not true that anywhere near that percentage of players in the NFL are on anabolics. Just recently one of the defensive linemen for the Raiders was suspended indefinitely for ephedra nevermind anabolics. The NFL is probably the most strict out of all the leagues when it comes to substance abuse. And while I have to give props to Boston on his size, I’ll bet anyone that Jerry Rice still runs a better slant route.

re: 40 yard times, even world class sprinters can’t break 4.3 electronically, so don’t believe that 4.17 (handtimed, yeah, but that means little). Like I said on another thread, the NFL combine record is 4.26 by Deion and it’s stood since 1989.
