Raw Power was one hell of an album. Iggy rocks.

Even his “more recent” albums are great for the most part:

It was part of an ad campaign by DirecTV in which Rob Lowe compared his life with DirecTV with some alternative Rob Lowe’s who subscribe to cable … there’s a creepy Rob Lowe, an overly paranoid Rob Lowe, the weak Rob Lowe in the picture, a dead beat Rob Lowe, etc…
They’re humorous for a TV commercial

Is it just a side effect of Beckham’s celebrity status?

Yes.
Trying to outsmart Dailymail is not a difficult task to start the day…
Beckham probably belongs to the hall of fame of midfield players in soccer. Probably worth a top 20 or even top 10 ever. The guy had a smart game vision, huge free kick ability, etc…
He was made iconic because some people wanted to make women love soccer and the guy was taking care of his looks, loved fashion, etc… He was the perfect guy to be advertised for this compared to the other players.
Now, Dailymail calls him “muscular” because a lot of ex-football players become fat, lazy and stop working out. I think that’s it.
But, he is still a weakling. ![]()
